Skyrim Uncapper v1.1.0 has been released,to support the launch of Creation Club.Now this plugin is designed to be version indepedent,it uses signature scan to find memory address at runtime,so as long as the function sig doesn't get broken, this plugin should work fine with monthly CC update.
ps:This version also fixed an issue where skill effects like armor rating,spell damage or duration and weapon damage don't scale with uncapped skill level.
Per vanilla calculations you will stop contributing to your Level XP with a skill that has achieved 100. This mod allows you to modify that parameter to continue receiving Level XP for that skill up to the skill level you modify it to (the Skill Formula Cap) or as Lued123 eluded to if you lower the number then once you reach that point that skill will no longer contribute to your NPC level, Level XP. If you want to increase your Skill Formula Cap past 100 I believe you need to have the corresponding Skill Level Cap set to at least that value. In other words, I believe Skill Level Cap must be greater then or equal to Skill Formula cap, else no effect.
Skill Experience gain simply multiplies the amount of Skill XP gained for any skill by a multiplier, which I am pretty sure, is applied after all other buffs you may receive from enchantments, shrines and what not whether they are vanilla or custom modded.
Level Skill Experience Multiplier simply multiplies the contribution of each skill level (Level XP) towards your actual player level.
You could for example, and this totally hypothetical, set all parameters to 0 for Skill Cap, Skill Formula Cap, Skill Experience Gain, and Level Skill Multipliers. Then change Destruction say to:
Skill Cap = 200 So now you can advance destruction up to level 200 (vs 100) Skill Formula Cap = 200 So now you get credit towards your NPC level for destruction up to level 200 (vs 100) Skill Experience Gain Multiplier = 2 So now you get twice as much experience for each destruction related activity (destruction will increase twice as fast) Skill Muliplier = 2 So now for each level of destruction it contributes twice as much to your NPC Level (Level XP)
And you will get no credit for any other skills (not sure if Skill Cap/Formula Cap should be 0, 1 or maybe even 2, but I hope this helps)
I would like experience gained in Smithing, Enchanting, SpeechCraft, Alchemy to increase a little faster but without contributing to increasing the character's level, which setting should I change?
Admittedly I'm not great with computers but I cant find the .ini file for the uncapper, I thought it would be next to the SkyrimUncapper.dll file but its not, is there something obvious I missed?
Edit: ignore this I realize I should download the other version
I can't get this to work properly. After reaching level 100 in onehanded sword don't do more damage. Like when reaching level 120 swords still do the same damage as they did at level 100 in onehanded skill.
Hi, if I understand it right leveling a skill above level 100 requiere more EXP. I.E : leveling a lv 120 skill requiere 20% more EXP compared to leveling a skill from 100 to 101. Wich mean, leveling a skill from lv 100 to lv 150 would take forever (correct me if I'm wrong).
I was thinking of tweaking the SkillExpMult to the following, to have an average feeling of leveling a skill to 100 to 101 for every skill leveled above 100 :
The idea of my tweaks are capping the standard skills to lv 150 (legendary at lv 150 back to lv 100) and skill formula at 100 (to avoid overpowered things).
Perhaps this helps one or the other? Win 10, started Skyrim SE and had the .ini in these two positions:
C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\SKSE\Plugins\SkyrimUncapper.ini
C:\Users\(my username)\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\skyrimse\mods\Skyrim Skill Uncapper for SE and AE-82558-2-2-0-1680463174\SKSE\Plugins\SkyrimUncapper.ini
Funny thing is, these two files are "the same". One of them must be a link or something. Because when I edit one, the other one shows the changes too. I am not 100% sure this is the only place where the .ini is and I am not sure this is where you should edit it, but ... hey, at least now you have an idea where to look, right? :-)
I believe that is happening because vortex works by symbolic linking (or maybe hard linking, I'm not sure) the mods you ask it to install into Skyrims base game folder. That's why edits to one show up in the other. To that end, it doesn't matter which one you edit. Though, it's probably simpler to just edit the one in Skyrim's folder.
Does this mod also effect enemies? Or do you just become super uber dragonborn? I really don't like the 'make this skill legendary' thing. When I make a skill legendary it takes me back to 1 and I can't use my cool high level skill...unless I missed something.... thanks for the mod!!
what does "training bug fix" mean? what is being fixed? is it the bug where you pay for training and you spend the 1/5 trainings but don't advance the skill?

I find this a good read to get the feel for Level XP and Skill XP and the associated factors, along with Creation Kit formulas.

Use this one instead: Skyrim Skill Uncapper for SE and AE
Works for both 1.5 and 1.6 version of Skyrim
There's no reason you should still be using this mod

What gives??????

[SkillExpGainMults\BaseSkillLevel\OneHanded]
1 = 1.00

110 = 1.10
115 = 1.15
120 = 1.20
125 = 1.25
130 = 1.30
135 = 1.35
140 = 1.40
145 = 1.45
What do you guys think about it ?
