Best teleport mod ever. - Works with Survival Mode, meaning you are hungry and tired after a carriage ride but not after a teleport. - The teleport spells are in the Powers menu instead of cluttering the Conjuration or Alteration categories. - The teleportation is animated with sound (doesn't just drop you to the loading screen) - Near as I can, there is no time passage when using this method of fast travel.
In my game, Klimmek will take you up to High Hrothgar. I think that's part of a different fast travel mod that adds more ferry boats and so on. Also, you could use Mark/Recall for getting to High Hrothgar.
I love this mod(specially the scroll only), no conflict to other mods so far. i use Simply No Fast Travel to boost my game immersion.
But one suggestion thou. can you make the teleport spells usable only in outdoors. to prevent new players from missing some scripted storyline from quests. Examples: Quest to acquire the Staff of Magnus. Many new players or guys that forgotten storyline might teleport back to winterhold not knowing Estormo(the guy who will ambush you at dungeon exit is still waiting) Quest to acquire an Elder Scroll in Soul Cairn. might miss the conversation between Durnehviir and the player if you teleport back to tamriel after acquiring the Elder Scroll from Valerica.
I would love that if you have a follower you need 2 crolls, if you have a dog and a follower you need 3, etc. otherwise only you will be teleported and you followers will stay in mod "wait here" mode. Just for Immersive purposes.
Sorry, no, the Oldrim version was a mistake of me as mods can't be backported from SSE. I originally made this for SSE. I'm not going to risk corrupting saves on Oldrim.
Heads up, after wanting this myself I looked into the process for manually converting it to oldrim for personal use. SSE uses the ESP format 44, where oldrim uses format 43. This mod has no records affected by the version 43/44 differences. Simply loading it in the creation kit and saving it for oldrim is all thats needed. I've been using it in my playthrough and have had no issues thus far.
I can't seem to get the mark location one to work. I use the scroll and then nothing happens, my character just stands in the same place with glowing hands still, no teleport or loading.
I may not be understanding how it works though, is it meant to take me to the blue marker I can put on the map? I am trying to use it to be able to teleport to my player home.
Mark just marks the spot where you stand. Recall scroll will teleport you where you used Mark. Basically define your own teleport point with Mark then use Recall to teleport to it.
Great mod, however I've run into a couple issues so far.
First, sometimes my followers' armor will completely vanish. Poof. Gone. Only seen it happen with the Rorikstead scroll so far, teleporting from the hot springs south of Windhelm.
Second, I can't find anyone who sells the spell tomes. I've checked everyone in the College of Winterhold, plus Farengar in Whiterun. Inns sell the scrolls just fine.
Spell tomes have a chance of not appearing at all, you just gotta keep looking for them.
None of scrolls or spells do anything to NPCs other than simply teleporting them. There's no code in the script that would do anything to their equipment. Has to be something else that unequips your followers and the scroll just happens to be a trigger to that. If you're using AFT, it could be it has a reaction to fast travel via script somehow, I can't explain otherwise.
I suggest you using odds and ends mod which gives a vendor that has all the items that you allow in their shopping list. The price will amount to the mod makers wishes so abusing that. It also refreshes once a day so you can keep buying.
