Why
Skyrim Together Reborn is incompatible with Survival Mode. One of the reasons for this is that players cannot skip time. This creates an issue with Survival mode where the player can never rest to recover from exhaustion. A simple fix for this issue alone is to remove the exhaustion gain mechanic.
