Why
I wanted to make movement in combat more intense and interesting.

As an avid Overwatch player, I didn't like the feel of movement during combat. Skyrim's combat in general feels balanced around small bursts of aggression and kiting to recover, while also offering the player a strikingly fast movement speed. Combat often feels like you're wearing speed-ice skates.

Compare this with Dishonored, which slows the player character's movement while in melee with an opponent, to create a tense, focused moment of action and consequence built from any previous preparations and mistakes.

Overwatch movement is fluid in all four directions, but the player character moves fastest when moving forward, and receives slight penalties when strafing, and more significant penalties when backpedaling. To this end, I designed this mod to capture the feeling of omnidirectional freedom while keeping an emphasis on melee-range management, facing, and positioning -- all things that are of grave importance during the average Overwatch PvP match.

What
Actor movement speed is slightly slowed down. Actors receives small debuffs to movement speed while acting (attacking, drawing bow, casting magic) or while moving in off-directions (-10% movement speed sideways, -20% movement speed backwards. Other penalties for blocking, power attacking, or sneaking.
