About this mod
Replaces mesh and textures for vine maples for a redbud tree. Modified vanilla mesh, should not cause performance issues.

This is a texture and mesh replacement for vine maples. The textures come from images I took of a redbud tree. The mesh is the vanilla vinemaple01 that has been modified to work better with the new textures.
I tried to make the replacement different from the other replacements out there without making it feel out of place in the game. It does deviate from the vanilla look of the plant since redbud trees have heart shaped leaves instead of the pointed leaves of the vine maple. I also made some minor adjustments to vanilla mesh to prevent clipping of the leaves and to make the trunk/branch portions of the plant look a bit better.
Installation
Performance
Since this is a modified vanilla mesh it should not cause any performance issues. Choose your texture size according to how much VRAM you have available to you. The 2k size is the same size as the original vanilla texture. The 4k file size is four times larger than the 2k.

All assets are released under CC BY-SA 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/)
This means you can use the assets from this mod so long as you credit me and
also publish your mod using the same Creative Commons license.
This includes porting this mod to other versions of Skyrim.

Installation
- Download the file with the texture size of your choice. Available in 2k (1024x2048 original size) and 4k (2048x4096).
- Install with your mod manager of choice
- If you have another mod that modifies this plant you will need to make sure this mod overwrites it in order to see the redbuds in your game.
