I haven't found it anywhere else, but I was able to get horker meat from the hanging horker in Vanilla Skaal Village Other hanging ones disappear when I get the item with the harvest patch, but the hanging horker has no change, so I'm too sad I don't know if this one is excluded because it's so big compared to the others Could you patch it for people who need it like me?
SMIM -> Mihail mods -> FHHC with patches for Mihail mods enabled in the installer The general rule for mods not listed in our compatibility section is the following: if the mod only edits existing meshes and it has a version in which the mesh disappears after harvesting, then you can use it with FHHC, overwriting FHHC. If it doesn't have a disappearing version then in order to use it with FHHC, a patch that does that is needed. If it does more than editing existing meshes (i.e. adds new types or variations of hanging carcasses, or edits their base records in some way) then it needs a .esp patch for FHHC as well.
The mod you linked requires Real Rabits HD, which is currently not compatible with FHHC because of the color variations it adds that are technically separate objects. I'll add a patch for it when i have a time and once that's done you should be able to use the mod you linked. And that mod is not compatible with Mihail rabbits, since it uses different mods (SMIM or Real Rabbits HD) as base.

EDIT: or can you explain how to make meshes dissappear when harvesting?
I just checked the deadsalmon02 mesh in NifSkope and the collision still starts above the head. Did you fix that issue in a different way ?
Is there need a patch?
