Description

This is a port/rewrite of the Auto Move SKSE DLL by Zax to CommonLibSSE-NG. This means that this DLL should work for both Skyrim SE and Skyrim AE.

How To Install

  • Install Auto Move.
  • Install this mod.
  • For ModOrganizer: Make sure that the original AutoMove.dll is overwritten by this mod, place Auto Move NG below Auto Move.

Permissions

This file was made by reverse engineering the original mod DLL from scratch. No source code or any files from the original mod were used for, or are being redistributed in this mod. You still need to install the original mod for functionality and for the papyrus scripts.

Project Status

v1.0.0.0 has been released. This should be a faithful re-implementation of the original mod DLL.

From now on, work will start on v2.0, which will be a standalone SKSE Plugin, all work on this mod is dedicated to the standalone version, which should be more reactive, require no papyrus scripts, and allow the mod to do much more than normally possible.

No ETA on 2.0.

v2.0 wanted features (In order of est. implementation timeline):
- Re-implement papyrus + AI packages in CommonLib
- Make automove ai only enable on hotkey hold, tap/press will have vanilla automove functionality.
- Instead of only one feature, open menu for dynamic automove to various markers.
- Quest markers
- Escort actors
- Map markers (override fast travel)
- NOTE: Menu will probably add UIExtensions requirement
- Better custom map marker placement and improvements.
- More MCM customization support
- navmesh/pathfinding patches to remove the amount of movement wierdness and awkward waypoints.
- Make stairs/steps not make the PC act like they need a stair lift installed
