I moved my game from my program files to my other SSD and now it has an error that is apparently supposed to happen if you have the game IN program files:
Caught exception while trying to read Bethesda archive file at "G:/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Skyrim Special Edition\Data\KhajiitChildren.bsa": Unexpected collision for file name hash 32651535392374867 in set for folder name hash 140733876832152
It happened to me too when I'm sorting my load order with LOOT via MO2. My workaround was to make the BSA files to loosen files using "B.A.E. - Bethesda Archive Extractor" BAE then the error messages from LOOT are gone and worked normally, take a look of my screenshots: Ma'isha error gone
I'm sorry for the late reply. In my case, I was just normally installed the mod through Mod Organizer 2 and the same error pops up. It says something like this (message taken from LOOT):
Caught exception while trying to read Bethesda archive file at "D:/Steam/steamapps/common/Skyrim Special Edition\Data\KhajiitChildren.bsa": Unexpected collision for file name hash 32651535392374867 in set for folder name hash 140733876832152
So, first things first, (1). Download and extract Bethesda Archive Extractor to anywhere in a new folder. (2). Download and install Ma'isha mod to whichever methods suits you. (3). Go back to where you extracted the Bethesda Archive Extractor and open up "bae.exe" [You don't have to run BAE through Mod Organizer 2]. (4). Locate your Ma'isha folder. (5). Click and drag the "Khajiit Children.bsa" to Bethesda Archive Extractor. (6). In Bethesda Archive Extractor click "Extract" (7). Extract it to where you put your Khajiit Child Maisha folder. (8). Delete the "Khajiit Children.bsa" in the Khajiit Child Maisha folder and you're good to go.
It's worth trying it - I had used Bethesda's option before moving to Vortex (big mistake!) and then MO2, and Bethesda is too limited and a lot of mods aren't the same as on Nexus or aren't updated. I found a lot of my mods that I had on Bethesda to be outdated when I moved to Nexus.
It's worthwhile working your way into it, when you're up for it.
This looks soo freaking adorable! Much cuter than the human children (if you can call most of them cute). I can't wait to use this with "Khajiit will follow"!
I adopted her, but then she never left the shack and I can't open dialogue with her anymore. I moved her to my house with console commands and she left back to the crabber's shack, any idea how to fix it?
