    Update 3.1

Added a mgef that would have prevented divine shield from functioning properly.

I am considering this mod as complete, and will likely not update further, at least in this format. I'm currently using and testing a version of this mod that has the effects attached to shields. I am liking that better than the perks, as it's less overpowered (cannot have the effects all the time regardless of equipment) and also allows you to naturally toggle the effects. I may release a version with these changes later on if enough interest is shown.

    Update 3.0

This update now releases Shields of Ordinator as a patch--it should work for all future versions of Ordinator. The released version is balanced for Master difficulty--Since you take 2x damabe, the shields will absorb 2x more than stated.

Divine Shield Change! Divine Shield will now always be active unless you are carrying a wooden bowl (RefID 3199a) in your inventory. This means if you wish to disable the effect, just pick up a wooden bowl. I've added this as a trigger because I wanted an off switch for the perk and am not savvy enough (yet) to code for a power to activate/disable. This means is possible to choose the perk and not have stunted magicka regeneration during combat (you will also lose the damage resistance, however).

I've also added some 'magic effect clutter removal'. I was getting annoyed with all of the smithing perks appearing on the magic effects list--I know what perks I've chosen, and if not, I'll just look at the skill menu or smithing menu, thank you. I'd rather not have to scroll to see if I am thirsty, or if I have an actually important effect applied to me. Simply checked 'hide in UI'.

Finally, I've increased zoom for the 'steady hands' perk slightly... I guess this mod has become more of an 'Ordinator Improvements' mod vs just a shields mod. Ahh well.

Hey, I've been following this mod for a while, I haven't tried the perks yet but I'm excited to see how it works out. In regards to linking them to shields, I think that'd be cool. Give an offset from 100% offense to give more defence focus. I've been enjoying playing sword and board atm as ordinator makes it quite rewarding. Keep up the good work!

I know you followed proper precedure, per the permissions of EnaiSiaion, but is there any way you can add your own esp that only contains your personal edits and make the original Ordinator esp a master? I ask this because you have essentially taken the entire Ordinator esp and all it's content, made some edits and released it as a replacer, hence the 1826kb file size (286kb compressed). Seems a bit unnecessary since you are only editing a few things, not to mention when overwriting the original all other mods that have it as a master get thrown below it at the bottom of your load order causing people to have to readjust their LO. This can prove dicey for those with delicate load orders and merge patches.

It is likely possible, but as nothing is wrong with this mod I am disinclined to do so (quite a bit of work for nothing gained). I'll consider it if Ordinator gets updated again, otherwise, any modding time I have is being directed towards my Sectors mods. I'm really enjoying my playthrough with it at the moment. Regarding size, it is larger, but it was meant to replace the ordinator esp so that it would stay in the same position. I am unaware of any mods that use ordinator as a master, but in that case, manually install the esp by overwriting the file and nothing in the load order will shift. At all. Just drag back the original ordinator if you want to revert (just be wary if you chose the perks and saved--I'm not supporting issues arising from bad decision making). Besides that, anyone can just use LOOT--even if it doesn't sort them where you want them, its system is easy enough to use with "load after" and "priority" settings. Even better, it will continue using those settings automatically from that point on. Personally I'm running well over 255 mods, many that I have merged manually, and one esp which is basically a complete overhaul of SSE I built up and edited as I played... and have not crashed once. If there's sensitive load order issues, that's not related to this mod, and I doubt me changing the format will fix that issue for anyone.
