This is just an issue that's bugged me since forever, and I noticed that there's no fix for it for SSE, so I made my own! And as always, feel more than free to inform me if you encounter any issues, or if you have any suggestions. Let me know if my mod(s) helped you in anyway! I love to hear it, and it's definitely a huge motivator.

=== Want something more than just the fix? ===
Please check out my other mod: Enlightened College of Winterhold, it includes the fixes from this mod, as well as numerous enhancements to the college exterior such as more magical wells, added banners, and added magelight wells! Best part? It's made with the design to be compatible with other CoW mods! More specifically Magical College of Winterhold & Immersive College of Winterhold(When it gets ported).

Note: The first few images showcases my mod with just vanilla settings, the picture further down showcases my mod alongside stand-alone Winterhold Bridge Fix by Teria23 & Sexy Winterhold College by horrorview, which I'd definitely recommend.

Faralda always messes up. This is essential and without this mod, the pillars are doomed. Excellent mod, Medizy. Without you, I would have to call Harry Potter to fix the pillars instead.

Omg thank you so much!!! I'm not sure why Feralda always bugged for me wich caused her to never light up the last 2 pillars. Endorsed!

Medizy, please would you or one of your talented collaborators port this over to Xbox one. There are some mods that whilst they only attend to a small detail, the effect is transformative. I’ve been hoping that someone would pick this up but to no avail. It would make an old Skyrim player very happy and I’m sure the thousands of Xbox players would welcome it immediately.

Thank you for this mod! This issue has bugged me for a long time, and your fix is beautifully done. I mean, it's just a "dumb little issue," but it's one of those kinda things that truly diminished my gaming experience every time I went up or down the bridge. Now in my game the college is ALWAYS awesomely magical thanks to you. May Azura always light your path.

So I went and recreated your mod in xEdit for Oldrim. all files are form 43, everything works just like yours does in SE. I can give you this file to host for people who want their own Oldrim version. Would you be interested?

Looks like the author hasn't been around since May. Would love an oldrim version as I'm sick of visiting the College every 9 days or so just to make sure the cell doesn't reset and the lights go out. The existing college lights mod on oldrim is ok, but this looks way better.

Just out of curiosity, I loaded the .esp into the oldrim CK and saved it. I was actually surprised that the CK loaded it at all, but it did and changed the forms from 44 to 43. In xedit, it looks like that's the extent of the changes. I'd heard that you can't convert SSE files to oldrim (although rebuilding in xedit like you did seems like a sure-fire workaround), so I'm a bit nervous to try using it but, yeah, at least in Xedit everything looks fine.

Edit: eventually forgot to go to the College before the cell reset, so have been using my plugin (i.e. this mod saved in 32-bit CK) on Oldrim for a while. Works perfectly. Wish I woulda installed it earlier - way better LOD than vanilla. And the lighting effect is close to or the same as vanilla, which makes it way better than the college lights mod currently available for oldrim.

Has anyone tried merging this? Seems such a waste of a plugin slot, yet I want to keep it.

Um, I actually had no idea this was for SSE, can confirm that it's working on vanilla :)
Ty for the simple, and effective fix, endorsed!

Hi Medizy, when this mod is installed the whole College has horrible flickering issues from a distance. It doesn't sound like anyone else is having this issue, any idea why it may be happening?

This issue you're experiencing likely has nothing to do with my mod.

The flickering issue happens when you install the Sexy College of Winterhold texture pack, which is why I no longer use that one. The problem is because LoD College of Winterhold uses a different texture than regular CoW.

I re-downloaded the mod like I should have done in the first place and it's fixed now.

Does this mod edit large references? I'm now using dyndolod and the bridge is flickering with this installed. There was a similar problem with Magical College of Winterhold - the author wasn't aware that what she had edited counted as large references.
