Prepare for the ultimate in aural samurai immersion. This mod distributes katana drawing and sheathing sounds strictly to katanas via Sound Record Distributor.

Description:
Using Sound Record Distributor and Billkwando's Immersive Katana Sounds, I have distributed the drawing and sheathing sounds to a set of katanas in the game via a custom YAML file, which is located in the game's DATA\ folder. By distributing the sounds at runtime via SRD, the katana sounds take priority over other sound mods in your load order and limits their use to katanas. Now you can enjoy Billkwando's katana sounds without having to use them for all 1H- and 2H-bladed weapons.
The YAML file currently works with katanas from the base game, Dawnguard, nuevaskatanas, Immersive Weapons, COCO's 2B Wedding Outfit, Legacy of the Dragonborn, Nagamaki Gaijin, Animated Armoury (DAR version), Katana Crafting, Celtic Katana, Samurai Sword Collection, Heavy Armory and RyanReos's Blade Dancer and Shinobu Katana. The YAML file may be easily edited using Notepad or Notepad++ to expand coverage to other mods. Simply look at the example YAML file and check the SRD page for information on how to do so.

Plans:
- I will periodically add support for more katanas as I discover them. Please share your favorites in the comments.
- I would like to use EditorID in place of FormID, since EditorIDs are friendlier for merging. For some reason, SRD was not cooperating with me, so I chose FormID.
- If SRD or a similar tool adds Keyword support, I would likely update this mod to use Keywords following the protocol set in the Weapon Keyword Unification Project or the Object Categorization Framework.
Requirements:
- This mod requires Sound Record Distributor.
- Since Billkwando has granted permission to use the sounds, Billkwando's mod is not required. But I highly encourage everyone to visit the page and endorse the mod.
Installation/Uninstallation/Conflicts:
- Installation is a breeze. Unpack the archive into your Data\ folder, or use any mod manager.
- Uninstall by deleting the added files or with a mod manager. The uninstall should not break a save since the mod does not change any vanilla records or rely on any scripts.
- Conflicts are highly unlikely. The ESL adds only two new sound records. It is possible, of course, for the SRD instructions in the YAML file to be overridden by another YAML file that is loaded afterwards.
