About this mod

A "bugfix" (more like a harmless workaround) to the first person camera-jerk issue that occurs when you move sideways mid-jump.

Permissions and credits
Simply replaces the 2 first-person "animations" (they aren't visible in any way) that play when you move sideways mid-jump that do nothing except introduce this annoying bug, to actually do nothing but without jerking your camera.

More specifically:

In meshes/actors/character/_1stperson/animations I replaced mt_jumpfastleft.hkx and mt_jumpfastright.hkx (both have a very minimal animation of simply moving your invisible-because-first-person body slightly sideways, but for some reason it causes the camera jerk bug for some people) with the animation of mt_jumpfast.hkx (which is literally just nothing, you jump). Might be worth mentioning that these animations do not change the regular slight movement of your hands during the jump, or 3rd person camera. Shouldn't affect any other aspect of the game. Couldn't find any differences except fixing the jerk.
A more """elegant""" solution would be to tweak the animation frames themselves, but it literally wouldn't matter at all for all I know. You're welcome to do it yourself if you want.

The optional file - First Person Landing Camera Animation Remover:

TL;DR/Basic instructions at the bottom.

The camera bug this mod aims to fix happens in 2 occasions:
The first is when moving left/right while jumping forwards/backwards in first person, which is perfectly solved by this mod's main file.
The second is a bit different. It happens when moving left/right while being in the midst of a first person LANDING animation, which is the small camera wobble that happens whenever you land. I think the cause is that both the landing animation AND the landing-sideways have this wobble animation, and when you move sideways while mid-wobble, it restarts the animation - therefore jerking your camera to a different position instantly.
Possible solutions:
1. Disable the switch to mt_jumplandleft and mt_jumplandright, so it stays on the normal land animation (mt_jumpland) even when moving sideways.
2. When switching from the land animation to one of the side-land animations, have them start at the same keyframe which the landing animation is currently on.
Both would theoretically be great solutions, however I currently lack the modding experience to implement them. So my current, flawed solution is to apply the same solution as the first bug occasion: replace the involved animations with an animation that has NO CAMERA MOVEMENT at all.
For the first occurrence this works perfectly as there is no wobble mid-jump anyways, but for this landing part my fix would actually change something about the game which is remove the wobble animation altogether.

TL;DR/Basic Instructions - Installing the main file fixes the bug while JUMPING, not in the small timeframe of LANDING (touching the ground). If you're bothered by the bug occurring while landing MORE THAN you value the landing (only) first person camera wobble animation - install the optional file. Otherwise - Don't. Personally I won't be, since I don't move while landing that often and I do appreciate the land wobble.

Just in case it's not obvious:
This mod is compatible with every other mod, is just loose replacer files with no plugin, and should be installed normally using your mod manager.
In the extremely rare case that there's a load order level conflict, let this overwrite the other mod. Install/uninstall freely, mid-playthrough or not, doesn't matter.

I'm not sure whether this would work correctly if you're using some first-person overhaul such as Joy of Perspective or Immersive First Person View; Didn't test it. If you're using such mod, install this fix and try jumping. If nothing weird is immediately apparent - it's 100% fine.

Solution inspired by UrbanCMC's First Person Sneak Strafe-Walk Stutter Fix.
