Overview
Talking Improves Speechcraft allows the player to raise their Speechcraft skill by talking to NPCs. You just need to play the game as you normally do and whenever you click a dialogue option, the mod will give you a small amount of Speechcraft experience. I've included a video demonstrating the mod in action.
More Details
Experience is only received when you use the Activate key or press the Left Button on your mouse. It also works with controllers. It is highly recommended that you use Better MessageBox Controls or any mod that includes it, like Vanishing Dialogue Menu.
If you feel you're leveling up too fast or too slow, you can change the amount of gained experience using the MCM included in this mod. Settings will be stored in INI files, making them persistent across savegames
Alternativaly, you can download Conversations Raise Speechcraft by AndrealphusVIII. TIS gives you speechcraft experience for pressing the activate button while talking to NPCs, whereas CRS grants experience as soon as the NPC has said the affected lines. This means that my mod grants experience for any dialogue option chosen, including modded options and quests. However, you continue to receive experience if you select an option repeatedly. AndrealphusVIII's mod, whlile being lighter, only affects selected vanilla options and you only gain experience once, which is more immersive. However, it requires patches for new dialogue options and quests. Both mods work with scripts and achieve essentially the same goal. The best option depends on your personal preference, which may vary according to your modlist.
