I've recently developed an addiction to collecting followers and player homes, and tend to install almost every one I see that catches my eye. However, there is something I've noticed about most custom player homes that disappoints me - either they add no new music at all (and sometimes don't even use a base game music type) or they add just a small handful of tracks that get stale and repetitive very quickly. And often when there is new music added, the volume is much louder than the game's. So I decided to fix that. This mod adds 70 tracks to a new music type list, specifically to be used with new player homes. All the tracks are medieval tavern-themed music, and some may be very familiar to you. Below is the entire track list, with links and credit to their source.

I hope you enjoy this add-on and that it improves your overall experience in the player homes of Skyrim. Be sure to go give a like to all of the songs I used for this. I originally started this project to add more music to Traveller's Inn, and already published a version specifically for that, but as someone requested it to be added to another home, and I was already working on adding more tracks, I figured I would make it like this for ease in patching other player homes. In the future I may update this with more songs, but I'm rather happy with it for now. Oh, and before I forget, yes I flagged everything as esl to help save precious slots in your load order.

EXTERIOR UPDATE:

I've now uploaded two optional plugins, one for Elysium Estate and another for Traveller's Inn, that extends the music to the exterior cell. As I tend to spend a lot of time outside these homes, I felt it only natural to have the music be playing in their immediate surroundings as well as inside. They work fine in my load order, but if you're using DynDOLOD and don't want to have to rebuild your lodgens for them to work, you'll have to use XEdit to forward the cell changes to Occlusion.esp. These plugins include the interior music, so they replace the original patches.

INSTALLATION:

If you don't use a mod manager, just download manually, extract the archive with whatever unzipping tool you use (7zip, WinRar, etc.) and copy the enclosed .esp(s) and Music folder into the Data folder in your main Skyrim SE directory (where SkyrimSE.exe is located), then make sure you activate the mod in your load order.

If you're having issues with any of the plugins not working, try putting it much lower in your load order. Any other mod that affects the same locations in any way will have some form of conflict. The best way to avoid this is to keep my mod as close to the bottom of your load order as possible. Some mods will affect the same records my mod changes, and they will not be compatible with each other. Each plugin has been tagged with appropriate Bash tags, so be sure to run LOOT and rebuild your Bash patch.
