I wouldn't say I got the grab to work properly, it fails most of the time but it does look cool. Maybe I am doing something wrong, but there are a lot of things that went wrong because of many other animations that cause it to glitch. Nevertheless, I have two clips I can use for a future video.
May I recommend you turn the grab into a killmove much like the heartbreaker mod.
Also thanks for the idle. I tried a lot of idles for my kain build, but I still feel like this one is my favorite.
Nothing wrong with what you're doing, it's the grab it self, I could have used a scripted that would align the NPC and player perfectly when executing it but I didn't know about it before. I'm getting back into the modding scene, I'll be switching from Alukards work and colorful Magic weapons starting from the dark sword so stay in tune.
An update on this mod would be wonderful. I really wish to have the grab in my permanent kain build, just like the idle stance. Their top notch. Have you ever considered using the kingsglaive effects for raziels moveset? A spectral reaver using the kingsglaive effects would be perfection.
I try to do the PA but all i get is that annoying elden ring charge attack. i can´t do this mod's Power attack without eldem rim's charge attack interrupting it. EDIT: i solved it great mod!!! works perfectly
i really like the moveset but for some reason when i use the grab attack i dont get the animation for it i only do damage and the enemy is not lifted up at all. I also have this issue with black's malenia moveset grab attack where the throw animation is not playing at all but i still get the damage. Any ideas of what could be causing this issue?
Actually no, since i last posted this comment i have found out i had to disable a mod that disables enemy taunting which for some reason was the cause of me not getting the grab and stab animation but it lead to another problem i found which is with the dynamic stances mod that allows you to use multiple move sets depending on your stance.
Your grab attack actually does work but only if i set the DAR conditions for it to be the neutral stance, in other words the standard attack moveset, which is the only way for the animation to play for the player and the enemy getting hit by it.
When i use your moveset for high, mid or low stance the grab attack animation plays for the player but the enemy getting hit by it just does the vanilla stagger behavior and goes into a kneeling state while still taking damage and i dont get the cool grab by neck and lift up animation.
If you would like to test what im talking about just use the stances mod and edit the conditions text for dar to have your moveset be for mid stance and see how the grab animation causes the vanilla stagger behavior and doesn't lift the enemy up.
So i had that problem and fixed it by pudating elden to newest version(u need OAR) if that doesnt work.... distar unblockable fixed it. not sure witch one acctualy.
Thanks, that will help a few others. Here I found a version I enjoyed so I went to look at that weapon's id in the CK to update your own "_conditions" files.

Is there a way to make it work for the other "Soul Reaver" designs from the same author ?
