Compatibility
New drinks might need a patch if you are using a needs mod.
Last Seed patch is available.
ADER patch is available.
Frostfall keywords are enabled, so the drinks should warm you up (Icicle and Snowbear are cold drinks though).
Otherwise, compatibility should be high, because it only hooks up to Seasonal Foods' new leveled lists, without connecting to vanilla lists and containers. (It might conflict with other SF patches in the future, but that would be a simple LL conflict.)
Thanks to FormList Manipulator, the Coffee Beans are plantable without any conflict with other mods adding plantable ingredients!
And Base Object Swapper makes it easy to find some of these drinks out there (in pubs and houses, no dungeons or caves) without any cell or worldspace edits!
FYI, if you find the drinks spawn too often or not often enough, you can open the ini file and edit the numbers (chance to spawn, not to be confused with chance none in leveled lists). Feel free to share your customized settings too, if you so wish!
This mod is not compatible with Tamrielic Coffee and Tea, because they use the same assets (and essentially do the same thing).
Campfire addon
Adds 8 different varieties of teapots. (As usual, check the credits section for the authors of original meshes and textures.)
Now you can 1. Find/purchase a teapot. 2. Using Survival Crafting skill from Campfire craft a Camping Teapot. 3. Or purchase a Household Teapot.
Teapot (1) is a simple miscellaneous item, similar to other Skyrim cutlery. Doesn't do tricks.
Camping Teapot (2) is a Campfire placeable item. To make it you will need 3 Lockpicks, 1 Tankard, 20 Linen Wrap, 1 Flagon, and, of course, 1 Teapot of your choosing. The recipes are conditional, and only show up when you have a Teapot in your inventory.
Since this will allow you to craft not only hot drinks, such as coffee or tea, but also milkshakes and juices, adding additional, more appropriate vessels made sense to me. Linen is for the rug to place the items on. Lockpicks are for.. sewing the rug together. (Don't ask me why Skyrim doesn't have sewing items. Adding them here out of the blue would be bad for balancing imho.)
Camping Teapot is flammable, illegal to place in towns. Every time you place it, you need to spend 5 Kindling.
Household Teapot (3) is a Campfire placeable item. However, you lack the expertise to make it. (It uses the Noble Table, so unless we'll be hooking up to BYOH system somehow, balancing would not feel right, not at all.)
You can purchase it, and it will be more expensive than the Camping one. But do not be fooled: it is much more expensive than it seems.
Every time you place it, you need to spend 5 000 Septims. (This is to prevent an average survival mods user, such as myself, from abusing the system and using this teapot as a camping item. It is more appropriate as a home decoration. Functional home decoration at that.)
Household Teapot is perfectly legal to place anywhere, and it is not flammable. (Is the money a payoff to the local jarl? Is it a dragon made fire insurance policy? You decide.)
Adddionally, other CACO drinks recipes, such as juice making or separating milk and cream, are also moved to the Teapot. Recipes are conditional. If you don't see any available recipes in the crafting menu, you do not have any relevant materials. Go get some Elves Ears or Roasted Coffee Beans (Coffee Beans roasting is done in the Cookin Pot btw, the same place all the other roasting recipes go to).
Another small feature of this addon is loot from bandits. This is something I did in my old tea mod, and I realized I missed that feature.
Bandits were already connected to Seasonal loot, but this gives them some extra opportunities to carry clutter. Such as Rolls of Paper, Wooden Bowls (they have to eat, right?), the common type of Mortar and Pestle, or the cheapest Teapots. Bandits also like some of the most common and/or suspicious drinks.
The probability is very low, so it's unlikely you'd meet many tea aficionados out there.
Compatibility for Campfire addon
Unlike the main plugin, which only messes with the internal Seasonal Foods LL, this bad boy edits a couple of vanilla leveled lists (LItemMiscVendorMiscItems75, LootBanditRandom, LootBanditRandomWizard, LItemFurnitureMiscItems75), and one CACO leveled list (CACO_AlchemyToolsList).
Place AFTER Weapons Armor Clothing Fixes (their fix to the cutlery list is included).
It also changes CACO recipes of the few drinks it moves to the new crafting station. This is unlikely to conflict with anything.
Since the other items in the tea making compositions are vanilla, they will adapt to any remeshes and retexture you are using. For testing pics I had activated Skyrim 3D Furniture, Noble Skyrim, and SMIM. Should work with anything else just as well.
