Requiem - Lock Bashing Visualized

THIS MOD IS NO LONGER BEING SUPPORTED. CHECK OUT 'Requiem - Lock Bash Threshold Meter' INSTEAD.

Mod Description

Ever felt frustrated for wasting time with calculating the bash thresholds? Now you will have complete awareness regarding your capabilities of bashing a lock open.

The mod adds the following text to the HUD*:

Now a quick explanation of how Requiem's lock bashing works, taken directly from the manual:

"Requiem offers you the possibility to break locks up to adept level on wooden crates and doors. To break a lock by force simply
attack the locked object, if your health and stamina exceed a threshold determined by the locklevel, you
will open the chest."

The formula to calculate how much threshold points you currently have is very simple: (2 * Health + Stamina), while by default, A bash requires 350/450/550 threshold points to bash an novice/apprentice/adept lock open.

This mod also implements colors that indicates the possibility of bashing a lock open*:
• Green means that a lock is ready to be broken.
• Yellow means that you can bash the lock with your current stats, but their current amount is not great enough.
• Red means that you can't bash the lock with your current stats.

* The HUD only shows up for locked content with Requiem's "AA000XarrianLockBreakScriptNormal" attached to them. This is to avoid the HUD showing up on non-bashable locks.
* The HUD will update your current threshold points at real time, while also not requiring you to "refocus" on the now unlocked content to update it anymore.
* The colors can be changed freely through the auto-generated ini file.

Compatibility

3BFTweaks, or more specifically BTweaks is the only mod I know that changes the vanilla thresholds, and that being said, know that I've also have implemented compatibility for it, so that you don't have to manually edit the threshold values in the ini file.
