I installed this mod originally using RSV, but couldnt get anything to work. The mouth for Lydia and a few others is now purple. I uninstalled everything, and want to just install this mod. I got it to work on new NPCs I meet, but cannot revert the purple textures on the existing NPCs. What should I do?
you're a life saver. honestly i don't know why i didn't look through all the files of this mod because i usually do with every mod i install. just a brain fart i guess
I am interested selecting the different teeth options for my player character. How do I go about selecting a particular option. There nothing obvious during the installation process. I do not use Cotr and I believe the teeth are vanilla. I've looked in Racemenu which is the obvious place and you can do everything about teeth, except selecting the type e.g. say I wanted my player character to be toothless, which is option 5 on the list. I use BNP skin. 🤔
@edit O.K. if it's any help to anyone else who couldn't utilize the optional teeth in this mod, this is what worked for me. I thought this mod would automate the installation of a desired option, but it then occurred to me I could do this by opening the mod archive, then copy and paste the dental meshes & textures to overwriting the vanilla files (it might be a good idea to backup these files up before overwriting )😏. Now my player character runs around looking for a good dentist, as I wanted her to be toothless 😁
The installer itself is the selection process, there is no way to select on fly in the game AFAIK. Installing the option you want should overwrite your default teeth the same way you manually did it so long as it's winning all conflicts in your mod manager.
These are the best drop in replacements for teeth out there. The bottom teeth look kind of small in game though. Like grains of wet rice. would there be a way to stretch the bottom out just a bit horizontally in paint.net?
Edit: figured it out, I could upload the file if you like. All I did for anyone interested was make a selection of the entire bottom minus the very end tooth on both ends, and then I stretched the selection to match the original ends, it actually fit pretty well.
I see the same issue with EFM meshes. It looks creepy because the bottom teeth are too small. Simple Teeth Overhaul fixed the issue somehow and I wish there was a patch that would apply the same change to BnP Teeth Overhaul.
Anybody know how to add lines to the RSVBnPteeth_Distr.ini to exclude children from using player character's teeth? Basically to give children different sets of teeth than the player. Children with fangs for teeth, same as my wood elf character is jarring lol
Or if anyone knows the children's keywords, let me know as well. I can try to put in the lines myself, the teeth keywords are already included in this mod...
I'd like a version that only gives vampire teeth to vampires, sharp teeth to some races like orcs, maybe custom followers such as dragon race people, and just normal teeth for human races. Don't want to uglify my beautiful people with all the other options 😥
I had a question about the screenshot "Bloody Teeth", is that the default Face Morph for vampires that made the fangs look that way or is it a different face morph altogether? I've been looking for decent vampire teeth, since I think the vanilla morph makes them way to pointy.
Thanks for this mod! It looks great. I'm having a problem though, some of the npcs have a pink almost transparent texture for their teeth. This mod is not overwritten by any other. If anyone can help, thanks.
