About this mod

Ever wish spell projectiles could compete with arrows? That your fireball could give an arrow a hard time in a race? Now it can. This mod makes spells move faster.

What this does

This is a request for someone on Reddit. I've increased speed by at least 50% in most cases, but if the projectile speed was significantly slower than an arrow, sometimes I had to quadruple the speed. Basically, this should make ALL spell projectiles travel as fast, if not faster than an arrow.

Including the bloodskaal beams and shouts (the final words at least) so you can actually hit a dragon with dragonrend!

Range of most spells has also been increased between 50-100% as well. Bound bows fire arrows that go even faster, because they're technically magic.

Most speeds/ranges are consistent, but some special cases are Magelight and illusion spells like Frenzy or Calm. Magelight travels SLOWER but further, this is so you can get a good look as it moves across an area. The illusion spells travel so fast because it made sense. Lightning spells are lightning fast (they always were), but the next fast thing should be illusion spells, since they're "thoughts"

Oh yeah, and because lightning travels lightning fast, I also made the Dawnguard shock bolts travel super fast. But just the shock type bolts.

Compatibility

Should be compatible with everything, I use magic mods like Phenderix, Odin, Apocalypse, Arcanum, plus some of my own mods to name a few, and those spells still worked as they should. Odin affects vanilla spells, and these both work together.

So even if it overhauls an existing vanilla spell, this mod and that mod should still work perfectly.

One exception is Mysticism, where the author themselves told me it wouldn't be (since they edit projectiles)

Requirements

No requirements, other than base game and DLC like Dawnguard and Dragonborn
