OVERVIEW
SKSE plugin which simulates twilight (dawn and dusk) for any weather.

With this mod installed, the first and last half of sunrise and sunset respectively, reduce the power of sunlight by blending the color with the night value. This is an attempt at simulating Twilight where the sun goes below the horizon, which illuminates the lower atmosphere and the Earth's surface. Therefore, only sunlight is reduced. The ambient lighting - used for grass and tree LOD - can also be blended as some weather mods will add sunlight to this value (disabled by default).

This also modifies light levels, so NPCs will get their torches out if it's too dark, and the player will become harder to detect.

This mod has the most impact on games without Enhanced Volumetric Lighting and Shadows (EVLaS). The preview images are made with EVLaS to show that still makes a significant difference. Whether or not that is better is up to you.

By default this mod is disabled when an ENB preset is enabled, because most already include their own solution to it through ENB's own Time of Day system.

A menu to customise and save the variables in-game, as well as view the current internal variables is provided through ENB's UI.

NOTES

  • I describe my math as "so wrong it works".
