Hated these things for 11 years, i've tried a few times to do something but the vanilla meshes, especially the cluster mesh are terrible. So i used substance painter to recalculate the UV on the ingredient and applied some textures onto that. Then i used the ingredient mesh several times duplicating trishapes to create a new barnacle cluster mesh, and also the switchnode mesh. I'm happy with the way it came out and the meshes work flawlessly for harvesting. Saved in BC7 format and available in 4K or 2K ( can't see any visible difference between the two personally ).
