WHERE I LAY MY HAT IS HOME.
Mod adds a VERY SMALL and compact "pocket dimension" player home to the game. Filled to the brim with storage, crafting, decorations and utility.
:: REQUIREMENTS ::
ANNIVERSARY UPDATE !
I am using some of the Ayleid ruins items from the Anniversary Update, and don't know if your game will explode with this mod active on older versions of the game.
(no you, don't need the Anniversary *EDITION* with all the CC, you just need the update to the game (Update.esm)
Think about it like this: If you have Fishing and Survival mode, this mod will work for you.
If you're still on an old version of Skyrim that doesn't have Fishing and Survival mode -> this mod might not work as intended for you.
:: COMPATIBILITY ::
Not compatible with immersion editing mods which remove all equipped items from the player, like Go To Bed.
If you have a mod that unequips gear, use this patch -> Home in a Hat - Unequip F****ry Circumvention
If the hat doesn't appear in your inventory when you enable the mod, try moving it to be later in your load order. Wiggling the load order spot usually helps if the hat doesn't seem to work.
• Ordinator has a perk that messes up the disenchanting font, so don't use the disenchanter if you are an Ordinator user :)
:: FEATURES ::
• All vanilla crafting stations except wood chopping
• A mirror to change your appearance!
NEW! • Disenchantment font to reset player upgraded items
(both enchantments and smithing improvements)
• Bed gives Well Rested buff
• One, solitary mannequin
• Plenty of named storage and a few unnamed ones you can coordinate yourself.
• Glorious clutter
:: GENERAL BASICS AND HOW TO USE THE MOD ::
• Upon loading to the game, an "Ancient Wizard Hat" is added to your inventory.
To access the home, put on your wizard hat (under Armor menu).
• As the hat teleportation is a "teleport player" function, if you want to bring followers in,
you might need a "teleport follower to me" spell or some such.
• You cannot actually be seen wearing the wizard hat - I am not equipping the hat into the head slot
so that while using the workbenches, you can use your circlets for alchemy, smithing etc.
• When you want to exit the home, just unequip the hat. You will be teleported back to where you left off from.
• I recommend standing a bit further from the mirror, since it changes the camera angle when you activate it.
If you're too close to the wall, the camera will clip inside the mirror :)
• I changed the oven's size, so the animation is a bit off.
• I recommend Jaxonz Renamer if you want to change storage names
• This is meant to be a place to craft and store stuff between adventuring. It's not a display hall or a museum. If you want to display weapons, armour and unique items, you can complement this mod with Dovahkiin's Vault.
• Cleaned with xEdit
• Navmeshed in case you pull followers in
