About this mod

Reworks Breezehome in Whiterun. The mod provides a new exterior look and two underground levels to expand the livable area of the home. The entire house interior lies within a single cell.

Changelogs
Wynter's Breezehome Redux

After doing my original Breezehome mod, I felt there was still more to do. So I had a second go, and this is the end result.

Upgrades
Alchemy and Enchanting Laboratory (Optional)
A laboratory/workshop with an alchemy lab, enchantment table, and staff enchanter.

Basement Workshop (Optional)
A well-appointed room with a forge, tanning rack, armor table, sharpening wheel, and smelter.

Bathing Room with Working Fixtures (Optional)
There is a bathroom with a sink, tub, and toilet. The toilet flushes, the bath is used by the player upon activation, and the sink appears to fill with water when activated.

Bedroom - Main  (Optional)
A room off the loft with a double-bed, nicely decorated.

Children's Beds (Optional)
Two beds are provided for your adopted children if you choose to purchase them from Proventus Avenicci

Exterior Upgrades (Optional)
Includes a porch with seating located on the left side of the house, with a walk leading to the front door. There is a bird bath and butterflies just beside the porch. Also, there is exterior lighting, controlled by a lever mounted on the door.

Followers Quarters (Optional)
Since some folks like to play with multiple followers, I've added optional follower's quarters with furnishings that include two beds. If you don't play with followers, then you can skip the room purchase.

Housecarl Bedroom (Optional)
A small bedroom off the loft area for your trusty housecarl.

Indoor Garden (Optional)
An interior room in the sub-basement with fifteen Hearth Fire style planters to grow food or alchemy ingredients.

Kitchen Area with Cooking and Baking Stations
The heading says it all...

Loft with Worship Center and Game Table (Optional)
A large loft with one section devoted to a card table, and the other filled with padded benches and a worship area with a choice of shrines.

Remodeled Exterior (Optional)
A completely new model for the Breezehome exterior that matches the footprint of the interior. Fixes the vanilla issue where the home's immersion-breaking interior is much larger than its exterior.

Strong Room with Auto-Sort Storage Chests (Optional)
A place to stash your loot. Dump it into the strongroom's safe, and it will be placed automatically into labeled storage chests.

Trophy Room (Optional)
A well-furnished chamber for displaying your loot. Ten mannequins, and about thirty-five labeled weapon display racks.

Features

Automatic Loot Sorting( Part of  Strongroom Upgrade)
There is a room full of chests, each chest sitting on a rack with its contents labeled below.  There's a safe in the room. Just dump your loot in the safe and it will be distributed to the properly marked chest.

RaceMenu mirror ( Part of Bathing Room Upgrade)
The looks mirror is located inside the bathing room, and upon activation will remove the player's headgear then invoke limited Race Menu to allow you to change your looks. When you finish with Race Menu, your headgear is restored.

Switchable Exterior Lights (Part of Exterior Upgrade)
There are four exterior lights that can be switched on and off by a lever at the front door.

Revolving Shrines (Part of Loft Upgrade)
In the loft area, there's a small worship area with a shrine on a pedestal. By clicking the pedestal, you can cycle through the shrines until you find the diety that works best with your build.

Restore Breezehome Spell
This spell was created as a fix for alternate start mods. For example, Live Another Life allows you to start as the owner of Breezehome. But, LAL switches on the vanilla game markers, which will do nothing for this custom Breezehome. Casting Restore Breezehome will do basically what the quest HousePurchase does, procuring Breezehome and all its furnishings for the player. It may be useful to resolve other conflicts, but was not meant as a cheat to get Breezehome for free. Usage of the spell as a shortcut for the acquisition of the home is not supported.

Adjustable Interior Light Levels (Part of the Strongroom Upgrade)
An interior control switch to let you cycle through multiple ambient levels to adjust the interior lighting to your liking. Note that this effect is overriden by ENB if it is active, so the switch will do nothing.

Custom Models and Textures
There are dozens of newly made meshes and textures, mostly furniture and clutter,  created especially for this mod.

Fast Travel to and from Breezehome Interior (Part of the Strongroom Upgrade)
Want to just dump your loot and go back to the fray? A Breezehome travel marker is added to the map and when you fast travel to it, you will teleport to the Strongroom where all the sorted storage resides. Throw your loot into the safe, then fast-travel to wherever you want. You no longer need to load Whiterun just to get to your house's stuff. (Note that this only becomes enabled after you upgrade your home with the Strongroom improvement.)

Custom Mannequins and Weapon Racks
Breezehome uses none of the vanilla game mannequin behavior, nor any of its weapon racks. Mannequins and racks have been rescripted, and the weapon rack models redesigned. Everything should stay where it is supposed to now. You shouldn't find your weapons on the floor or the mannequins wandering about.

Vanilla Bug Fixes

No more Traveling Mannequins.
The display mannequins are custom, with new AI and written-from-scratch scripts. They will stay put. Also, they utilize the standard container interface to make for simple interactions.

No More Falling Weapons
In the vanilla game, if you use a couple of weapon plaques in a heavily populated cell, the weapons would often  fall to the floor. The weapon racks in Breezehome are entirely custom, both models and scripts, and fix the falling weapons problem. Also, they utilize the standard container interface for simplicity and consistency.

Breezhome Interior now Matches its Exterior Footprint
In the vanilla game, the Breezehome interior conflicts with its exterior.  The interior is much too large for the external model. I created a new Breezehome model and modified the existing Breezehome interior to match the exterior model footprint as closely as the game would allow.

No More Sinking into the Steps at Breezehome Entrance
The stone steps entering Breezehome allowed the player to sink into them, up to his ankles. I have replaced the steps with a different mesh to ensure this no longer happens.

Compatibility
Not compatible with Immersive Citizens.
