    Locked
    Sticky
Open Animation Replacer is necessary, without it there would be no swimming animation
TK Dodge RE - Script Free is not mandatory, neither TUDM nor DMCO is necessary
Although players can install multiple Dodge mods
Or do not install any Dodge modules
Water Attack Redo can all be effective
The only requirement for the Dodge mod is that it allows for better transitions in swimming animations
Sink Or Swim NG   It is necessary for AE or updated versions
(Because Water Attack Redo includes Sink Or Swim based on SE version)
(If you are a 1.5.97 version of the game, you can ignore the requirement of Sink Or Swim NG)
    True Directional Movement is mandatory

ps: we should let growl werewolve win over this, the sink or swim mod change it...

edit: doesnt work, even if we set grownl to win it still give the integrity message.

Even when I emerge from the water and am above the surface, the swimming animation continues.
The walking animation only transitions to normal when I release the directional keys.

Oar will automatically switch animations, although there may be delays

to anyone having this, it is simple, Dar takes quite sometime to change animations, OAR is way faster...

Man, I already tried all the underwater combat mods out there...and this one is by far the best...if you would be so kind to listen to some suggestions:

-removing the running shaking camera in first person (and also the heavy breathing sound) would be good
-maybe not allow bows and double power attacks (when you press both buttoms you know) it is kind weird underwater.
-add the boiling water effect when using fire spells and maybe lightning spells underwater...

thanks anyway, hope you do not abandon this mod, it is truly remarkable

Used to perform a switch, if there is no Dodge module, there will be a delay in the animation entering the water

I finally tried your mod hahaha it is fricking amazing...but even with the dodge mod RE I still have the delay in animation when entering the water, actually I can only swimm if I jump after entering the water...maybe it is because I am using heavy armor? If that is so, it would be nice to add a slow spell when walking under water, so at least you can kinda feel underwater

Hello, I wonder if you have heard of bfco. This new framework supports underwater combat. It seems to be very fast to judge whether the character is in water. I wonder if this can help you improve this mod and realize real underwater combat.

Hello,I know, that mod is even better, and I have given up supporting 'Water Attack Redo'. The implementation method of this mod is outdated

I have opened the permission for 'Water Attack Redo'
Everyone can modify or improve 'Water Attack Redo'
      although
I put a lot of effort into developing 'Water Attack Redo'
Attempting to have an underwater combat system in the sky, but it is still not perfect
I warmly welcome anyone to improve this mod and release it with a new face

For anyone who ABSOLUTELY does not want Three Folders overwriting each other with varying degrees of success.

All you really need from Sink Or Swim NG is ONE FILE.
    "SinkOrSwim.pdb"
Put that in your "skse\plugins" folder alongside "SinkOrSwim.dll" and that's it.
No needless overwrites, no questioning which file loads first, no multiple files of the same type with a different date.

Just one File, in one Folder. THIS MOD.
Feel free to endorse the mods that came before this so this mod could swim when the others would sink.

Maybe I'm being stupid, but I'm struggling to figure out the exact installation requirements. The description clearly states this is incompatible with Sink or Swim, but also that it requires Sink or Swim NG, which itself requires the aforementioned Sink or Swim. A comment here explains that this will overwrite most of Sink or Swim NG, but does not clarify if this means Sink or Swim is unnecessary per that mod's requirements. When I download this mod, Vortex tells me it's redundant, and does not give me the option to overwrite anything. For now I'll keep testing . . .

I tried installing without other related mods enabled, and I've achieved limited functionality. For those who come after, I did as the earlier comment from "LoopsOrLamps" recommended and placed the Sink or Swim NG file into the folder of this mod; I left the original Sink or Swim disabled. In-game seems to function properly, with the caveat that there are no swimming animations. Based on the gifs (which I only just looked at now), I'm still missing something, so I'll keep experimenting.

This may be because the installer only installed ESP
      You can try doing this
      Open Water Attack Redo 2.5.7z
      You can see
      Water Attack Redo 2.5 DMCO
      Water Attack Redo 2.5 TK
      Water Attack Redo 2.5 TUDM

Choose a dodge mod you are currently using, such as TK Dodge RE
Open Water Attack Redo 2.5 TK
      There's something inside
Water Attack Redo 2.5 TK CN
Water Attack Redo 2.5 TK EN
Water Attack Redo 2.5 TK JP

TK CN refers to TK Dodge Chinese translation

TK EN refers to TK Dodge, translated from the United States

TK JP refers to the Japanese translation of TK Dodge

      Choose your language

For example, Water Attack Redo 2.5 TK EN

Open it and turn on Water Attack Redo 2.5 TK EN

      All the files inside

Drag into your mod installation folder

I am having the same issue. Though, I am not using any dodge mod, and the installer seems not installing anything.

Of the few underwater combat mods I've used, this one so far has been the best one I've installed. Great job with this. /Endorsed.

This an phaenomenal mod! Massively underappreciated! I am on version 1.6.1170 and everything has worked like a charm! Sink Or Swim NG indeed has to go below this mod (higher in priority) on  the left pane (MO2). In case anyone is deterred by the dodge dependency, as I was: the dodge only occurs if you enter the water with your weapon unsheathed, so it is not very intrusive. With the default configuration of TK Dodge it performs a very brief stepping dodge, barely noticable. And you can always seath/unsheath your weapons in water too. Also, while some might say "underwater spells are unimmersive", all I can think of is "time for Maormer Ice-Mage build".
