Detailed Mod Description -
This mod allows the player to craft my interpretation of Balmung Kriemhild from Fate/ Grand Order in Skyrim. The weapon uses a detailed poly efficient model and 4k texture mapping. The programs used in its creation are Blender 3D and Quixel Mixer. The ESP is ESL flagged and therefore shouldn't take a space in mod load orders.
Weapon Lore -
This interpretation of Balmung is based of the lore of the popular Japanese gacha game, Fate/Grand Order. Originally, Balmung is the noble phantasm of the legendary Siegfried, the great knight who had slain the Evil Primordial Dragon Fafnir and bathed in its blood to gain near immortality. This version of Balmung, however, is wielded by his wife Kriemhild, who took up the blade to avenge her beloved after he had died from being betrayed.
Compared to the once noble weapon it was, Kriemhild's instability and desire for vengeance managed to warp the blade into a powerful but brutal weapon. Still retaining its mythical dragon-slaying capabilities, Kriemhild's Balmung also had an even greater capacity for destruction at the cost of increased recklesness and bloodlust.
Weapon Stats -
Balmung Kriemhild boasts great capabilites for those worthy enough to tame its power. It excels at destruction and annihilation with powerful crimson red flames. This is further enhanced by its reputation as a dragon-slaying sword.

Weapon Enchantment: Rage of Fafnir -
Imbued with anger and vengeance, the channels the dragonfire of the slain dragon Fafnir into its own vessel. These flames are not so easily resisted dealing 30 points of fire damage. At times, the energy in the blade overflows and bursts creating a 5% chance for Balmung Kriemhild to deal 100 points of fire damage.
Special Perk - Madness Enhancement EX (Dragonslayer) -
Madness Enchancement EX - Balmung Kriemhild allows its wielder to fight without any restraint or holding back allowing them to deal 50% more damage against any foe, however, due to this recklessness, the wielder is also 100% more vulnerable to all damage sources.
Dragonslayer - With its reputation as the sword that had slain Fafnir, Balmung Kriemhild is able to do 100% more damage against dragons and other dragonborn. This effect also stacks with the previous damage boost effect.
Way to Obtain and Recipe -
Balmung Kriemhild can be created using the Skyforge once mastery is achieved with the Dragon Smithing Perk. It is a rather expensive weapon to make, requiring many materials from slain dragons.
- 10 Dragon Scales
- 15 Dragon Bones
- 10 Ebony Ingots
- 1 Human Heart
On the other hand, a lesser unechanted version of the weapon can be crafted using only a few ingots, dragon bones, and dragon scales once also attaining the Dragon Smithing Perk.

- Don't worry! I still plan on making Warcraft weapons. I just like modeling cool swords I find on the internet.
- The color scheme was a little to similar to the previous weapon, but I'll make sure to do a different one next time
- Blackhand's hammer is looking pretty neat, so maybe a hammer next time?
