You see your newly cast candlelight spell leave your hand and ascend above your head just as the falmer's sword drives through your chest. "I was trying to block with my sword" you think to yourself. Luckily the falmer is blind and can't see how silly you were. It's too bad you couldn't quickly unequip that spell.
Drop That Spell lets you use a hotkey to unequip whatever spell is in your left, right, or both hands. Excellent for when you want to cast a spell and then get rid of it so you can do one-handed blocks, etc. Particularly helpful when using Souls Menu.
