This mod can be considered a kind of successor of my earlier mod Apex Armoury Rebalance.

Immersive Khajiit Armor & Weapon Balance & Integration rebalances and integrates the armor sets Khajiiti Apex Armoury by VickusDickus and Lunar Guard Armor by Deydranos. It also rebalances and integrates the weapons from Apex Armoury.

Both Apex Armoury and Lunar Guard feature very nice models, but the integration from a gameplay perspective is lacking. The crafting requirements and armor/weapon ratings were all over the place. My mod attempts to properly integrate the armors and weapons and make them feel they were always part of the game.

NOTE: FIRST DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL APEX ARMOURY AND/OR LUNAR GUARD ARMOR AND DELETE THEIR ESPS, THEN DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL MY ESP.


To achieve my rebalance and integration I followed the Advanced Armors (Journeyman Smithing in Adamant) smithing perk logic. This means my mod makes the following changes:

- Turns Apex Armoury armors into Light Armor and balances it around the vanilla Scaled Armor. Because the Apex Armoury armor doesn't look like 'Scaled' armor, I had to make a new keyword and attach it to the armor pieces. Basically, this means the Apex armor pieces are now considered Light Armor of (Khajiiti) Steel Plate. The keyword is inserted in the relevant records so that this Light Khajiiti Steel Plate armor is recognised by any relevant perks. 

- Turns Lunar Guard armors into Heavy Armor and balances it around the vanilla Steel Plate Armor. Because the Lunar Guard Armor doesn't look like 'Steel Plate' armor, I had to make a new keyword and attach it to the armor pieces. Basically, this means the Lunar Guard armor pieces are now considered Khajiiti Scaled Heavy Armor. The keyword is inserted in the relevant records so that this Heavy Khajiiti Scaled Armor is recognised by any relevant perks. 

- Rebalances Apex Armoury weapons around Nordic Weapons. The weapons have the keyword Steel weapons and will benefit from any perks relating to Steel weapons.

To obtain the Apex Armoury armor:
- Starting level 19, buy the book The Art of Khajiit Light Steel Plate Armor from Ri'saad's Caravan and read it to learn how to craft the (unenchanted) armor. The book contains the recipes for the armor. Or starting level 25 there is a chance the (unenchanted) armor pieces are sold by Ri'saad's Caravan.

To obtain the Lunar Guard armor:
- Starting level 19, buy the book The Art of Khajiit Heavy Steel Scaled Armor from Ma'dran's Caravan and read it to learn how to craft the (unenchanted) armor. The book contains the recipes for the armor. Or starting level 25 there is a chance the (unenchanted) armor pieces are sold by Ma'dran's Caravan.

To obtain the Apex Armoury weapons:
- Starting level 19, buy the book The Art of Khajiit Plated Steel Weapons from Ahkari's Caravan and read it to learn how to craft the (unenchanted) weapons. The book contains the recipes for the weapons. Or starting level 25 there is a chance the (unenchanted) weapons are sold by Ahkari's Caravan.

VERY IMPORTANT: my mod, like many other mods, edits the Caravan Inventories, so please use your preferred method of conflict resolution, otherwise you might never see the armor in your game! I also gave all the caravan bodyguards armor pieces or weapons based on the caravan they are from - also check xedit for this (it's no problem if the npc changes are overwritten, they are very minor).

NOTE: this mod has open permissions and I encourage anyone who wants to develop this mod further to do so. If you encounter any bugs or mistakes please let me know.
