FAQ
Q: Is "Saturalia" a typo A: This how it is spelled in Elder Scrolls. Lore:Saturalia
Q: I ate all the Snowberries, Tundra Cotton, and Ingots and now can't complete the quest A: You shouldn't have done that. Either fail the quest by speaking to Satie or reload an earlier save.
Q: Quest start won't trigger. A: If you are in a city, go to a different city. Also try restarting Skyrim.
Q: Is the Christmas outfit requirement a requirement? the outfit has "crazy requirements". A: Kreiste's Christmas outfit has no "crazy requirements", the only thing needs is hdt-smp.
I like this mod a lot, it's cozy and festive. I also like Satie as a follower.
I tried giving her a wig with physics, but it changes her hair color, while it should stay the same as the head part hair. I tried setting the hair color in Creation Kit, because I noticed that it's set to default, but any change in the npc data causes her to have black face, default head geometry and no hair. I'm new to using creation kit so I may be doing something wrong. It would be great if you could give some advice, thanks.
I've seen enough people play through this over the years to know it works fine This comment contains no information. It is impossible to help you. Good luck
This mod is very cute and nicely festive, but I have 2 issues:
1. My framerates inside the snowglobe are abysmal. I don't have a great pc but in normal game I get a steady 30-40 fps, inside the globe it drops to about 10. I think it might be the shrubbery outside, if I disable some with the console it gets a little better when I look that direction.
2. The custom music never played for me. Even after the quest is finished it's the same spooky ambience, is there a magic jukebox I need to activate or something? Edit: restarting the game made the music work
I love this mod. The music that plays, Aquarium is my favorite piece from "Carnival of the Animals". One thing I did notice, (I play survival) that the cold environmental effects kick off while inside the snow globe.
Hi, thanks for this cute mod, I like it very much, thank you!
Only one little thing seems to have the need of improvement is the lighting. I cannot have the same lighting effect as we have seen in above pictures. I am using Lux, but the lights from the fireplace, candles and chandelier seem to be very weak, or perhaps generally the snow globe is too bright so all above light sources lose their lighting effects, and there's almost no shadow casting. While I disable the Lux patch, the whole environment within the snow globe still seems to have no natural light reflection and shadows. And, I am using ENB too.
I am not someone knows modding so I cannot identify the exact problem. Lux works very nicely on my end for all the places it touched, and I load this mod already low enough (almost the bottom) in my loading list, so I could only say perhaps there's some lighting issue from the snow globe itself.
Another thing is all the containers within the snow globe will respawn their inventory as well, I lost the Chrismas set given by Satie since I store it in the snow globe with some other things, and I lost them all.
Would you please take a review on above things when you have time? Thank you so much !
I am just using vanilla lighting, and it seems to work fine. You can suggest your changes to lux. And maybe post some screenshots showing what you think is the problem
Hi thanks for the comment. Well, I tried to upload some pictures but fail... Generally, comparing to the bright lights, rich colors and clear shadow casting in your screenshots, at my end the lights are so weak and shortly ranged, the colors are unsaturated, and the shadow casting is so weak and so hard to be recognized. This is the same result with or without lux patch. With Pi-cho ENB I can get more colors, but the problem of weak lights and weak shadow casting stay there persistently...
Thank you, I check other screenshots, and find the one most closed to mine, is "Thanks and Merry Christmas". However, at my end, the hearth fire light is so weak, my whole place is as bright as "Thanks and Merry Christmas" along with extremely weak shadow casting.
I tried to do some adjustments by myself, and with adding interior lighting templates in the world place and blocks, the shadow casting comes normal and color rendering become much more reasonable, but still the light sources are too weak for Lux since the whole place become much darker. I hope I can continue to improve this. I did try to upload some pictures, but it just doesn't recognize the links from my computer, sorry about that.

Where is the possible conflict?

You can also consult other people's screenshots. I don't see a problem with their screenshots

you can just coc out:
coc whiterunorigin
Interiors failed 2 times, exterior works.
Thanks for your mod and Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Sorry for the necro post, but I'm having the same issue, one year later. Did you ever figure this out or did you just use coc?
Typical Dragonborn.....
But on a more serious note, definitely trying this out when I reinstall Skyrim in the new year. Looks wonderful.
