About this mod
A voice pack for all your feisty, cannibalistic she-devil characters.
- Requirements
- Permissions and credits
No reference to Mortal Kombat, Outworld, Shao Kahn, or whathaveyou. Set frequency to around 45-85% depending on how chatty you want your character to be.
Credits to Mortal Kombat X and sounds-resource.com for the voice files.
Other stuff:
- While there are no reference to the Mileena character in the voice files I picked, a lot of them are still... undoubtedly Mileena. Rough, gravely voice with flirty undertones and just a little bit of unhinged-ness--it fits a certain kind of character, but not all of them. I personally made it with a vampiric, cannibalistic, hits-on-anything-that-moves kind of gal in mind.
- Some of the Hello and Greeting lines are flirty.
- That said, while the lines themselves are nothing NSFW, some of them are delivered in a... yaknow, titillating manner. Wear headphones.
- A lot of the lines are concentrated on Combat and Magic--there's not much I found that could fit in Location or Menu, unfortunately. No sprint or bow zoom sounds, too.
- If you're playing a character who spams Vampiric Drain a lot, turn down the Magic Frequency to 50% or lower. The lines get repetitive.
- There are 9 lines in the Block subcategory. Excess lines will be ignored unless you edit the PC Head Tracking esp to allow more than 5 lines per category.
Here's a dealbreaker:
The vanilla FemaleEvenToned shouts don't really match Mileena's voice. She has a throaty kind of voice that makes me think of a Khajiit or Argonian... so I tried matching it with FemaleKhajiit shouts in-game.
It still doesn't match, of course. But the transition between the gravely combat voices to shouts sound a lot more seamless than if I had stayed with the non-gravely EvenToned shout. And I'd rather take some minor vocal pitch shift than a whole voice "style" shift. I could just pretend Dovahzul warps the speaker's voice a bit, because magic.
You can grab BYO-compatible FemaleKhajiit shouts from this mod, just remove the "PC Head Tracking" folder from Data/sound/fx from that mod and keep both the "PC Head Tracking - MCM.esp" and "PC Head Tracking - Patch.esp" folders from Data/sound/voice. If that makes sense. Do NOT simply overwrite the files from their mod with this voice pack on top of it--or the other way around for that matter--it's not gonna work. At best, some of the Khajiit voices will mix with my voice pack, and unless that's what you want, remove what you need to remove before installing everything.
