About this mod

Tired of cheesing the enemy AI with sneak archery? This mod makes enemies inside dungeons smarter and search further for those cowardly trespassers.

Requirements
Permissions and credits

Sneaking is fun, but the simplistic enemy behaviors made it too easy. You didn't even really need to hide from enemies, only needed to backtrack outside of their range. There wasn't that much point either for all the mods that gave you more tools for stealth gameplay if you could just backtrack. Now enemies will actually try to patrol their dungeon for intruders, so you need to scout out a good place to hide.

Features
  • Time for all enemies to be convinced there is no mortal danger to their lives and livelihood is greatly increased as seen in above video.
  • Intelligent enemies (humanoids, automatons, Dragon Priests, etc.) will actually patrol their dungeon for intruders. Video Demo.
  • Behavior is semi-randomized, but enemies double-check the entrance to their fort.
  • Enemies will usually go in pairs because a lone wanderer would just be making it easy for an assassin. (But sometimes they're stupid enough to go alone)

Future Updates
  • If I get around to it, will probably look toward making the behavior even more sophisticated.
  • Been thinking about doing a dungeon lighting overhaul in the vein of Dungeon Darkness Redone, except with Base Object Swapper. Then if you put out the lights, enemies will put the lights back.
