To make this mod works, you will need to edit the "Rule" to apply "After" SMIM. Otherwise it won't work.
In Vortex, click on Manage Rules, search "Prisoner Cart Fix" then change the rule to "After" instead of "Before", even if Vortex suggested to load it "Before" SMIM.
Also, Vortex will detect this mod as Redundant, but it's not.
If you end up with purple parts on the carts download the optional file. That will fix the purple parts of the cart. Vortex will say it is redundant but I left it enabled and it fixed the texture.
Oh for the love of... 10 year's of installations across several different machines and this bug still happens. More specifically, from the Immersive Armor's mod being enabled during the carriage ride of a new game. I can confirm this mod fixes that.
At first I allowed this bug (or as I like to call it, "Todd's Wild Ride") for a while, because it was hilarious, but after few characters it made starting a new game nearly imposible, increasingly breaking intro sequence, like cart getting stuck, or stopping in a weird place. Let's hope this will help. :)
With Vortex, Ruins Clutter causes this mod to be flagged as redundant, so vortex will not install it even though it says it is installed. If you use this mod and are having trouble, try uninstalling both, and then install this mod first, and ruins clutter second. This will still give you a file conflict but you can just make sure that ruins clutter loads BEFORE this mod, so that this one overwrites what ever is in the way. (this fixed it but now Im on a mountain but I think thats another issue entirely)

Currently using the Vanilla SSE fix.
Thank you author, for this diamond.
