About this mod

Adds standalone spells Zeta Fireball, Zeta Blizzard, Zeta Mass Paralysis, and a lesser power version of the fireball as well.

Permissions and credits
A quick mod I made, mostly for myself. It adds STANDALONE spells that simply make the fireball radius HUGE, increases damage (and charge time), increases blizzard and mass paralysis radius, etc. Standalone means it does NOT change any vanilla spells. It uses only vanilla assets. ESL file, so it takes no space in your load order.

You must add the spells with a console command, though. Just type "help zeta" and then "player. addspell (insert spell ID's here)

I have attached a video showcasing them. They should actually be fairly balanced, it doesn't look that way in the video because my character is level 1 and I enabled god mode (spells were to expensive for a level 1 character of course)

One last thing to note about these, they all ignore resistances, absorption, and line of sight. This means they can affect enemies through walls, bypass a Breton's spell absorption, and also harm enemies generally immune (so a Zeta Fireball harms a flame atronach)

This spell should be compatible with everything, and has no requirements other than base game Skyrim. Is it lore friendly? I'd say most this belongs in Skyrim. In Oblivion, you could make a spell like Zeta Fireball that basically hit an entire town. It may be slightly unbalanced, but magic should feel that way, it always did in the older games.

Zeta Fireball:

Blast Radius - 200 feet (default fireball is 15)

Damage - 400 (default is 40)

Charge time - 2.5 seconds (doesn't apply to the power, of course)

Noise - Very loud

Zeta Blizzard:

Hazard Radius - 200 feet (default is 40)

Damage - 50dps (default is 20)

Charge time - About the same as vanilla version

Zeta Mass Paralysis:

Radius - 400 feet (default is 40)

Duration - 30 seconds (default is like 10)

Charge time - Should be about 1 second
