Changelogs
Version 1.4
replacing some shaders, make the effects more subtle, more suitable with HD mods
Version 1.3
some importants adjustments (update recommended).
Version 1.2
a balance between brightness of v1.0 and darkness of v1.1
Version 1.1
improve some brightness (will be a less bright) and occlusion (a bit more dark), reduce saturation.
This is a Reshade preset, build especially for Skyrim vanilla (but should works fine with some mods too). No EnbSeries needed, even no mods required, even not SKSE, just Reshade.
This preset include : irradiance and occlusion, ambiance light, filmic tone mapping, filmic sharpen and an advanced anti-aliasing. It is based on my previous works on Fallout New Vegas.
To install : put the ReshadeTrueLight.ini file in your C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition directory, then install Reshade, during setup choose your Skyrim executable, DirectX 10, and either select all shaders or those specifics for ReshadeTrueLight. During game, press Home, read or skip Reshade tutorial, and select the ReshadeTrueLight preset.
Feel free to adjust shaders parameters as you want, such things (colors, brightness, darkness) are quite personal touch. Just disable performance mode to edit them, then re-enable performance mode when finish.
There are also some alternative presets : - ReshadeTrueLightFancy.ini, with more vibrant colors, filmic tones, some others effects, so less realistic but more fantasist (see last screenshot), - ReshadeTrueLightLite.ini, without anti-aliasing so a bit more performant than main preset, - ReshadeTrueLightCS.ini, that is better with Community Shaders. - ReshadeTrueLightCS-Dark.ini, same than previous but darker shadows and more desaturated.
