Can we get a list of the specific dragons this mod replaces? It doesn't seem to work on Alduin and I don't know if that's a bug or not. Please just add a list to the description.
Why do we need the GOT textures if you have them in your files? The Got textures mess some things up. They do the half and half thing because they are so large and you get dragons from other mods with half messed up bodies.
Change the names of these .nifs to the .nif names of the dragons you want to replace, put them in a file with the structure of Skyrims mesh files like so "\My GoT Replacers\meshes\actors\dragon\character assets\alduin.nif", compress it to .rar/.zip and install in your mod manager.
I made Alduin into Black Dread and he's awesome! Odahviing is Bloodwyrm, the revered dragon is Seasmoke, and the legendary dragon is Dreamfyre
(If you want to replace the revered and legendary dragon .nifs, they are in "meshes\ actors\dlc01\dragon")
The revered dragons are those two on the frozen lake in the forgotten vale. They normally have kinda sawblade-esque necks. They also spawn in the rest of Skyrim once you're high enough level, much like the legendary dragons.

they seem to be applying to the old dragon shape and giving them invisible horns.
I failed to read and thought they were textures spread throughout the dragons. These are new dragon enemies that are hand placed.
I'm getting bullied by 3 level 50 dragons outside whiterun on my level 6 character.
What abiut just replacer of existing dragons?

But what is revered?
I'll leave it to the mod author to upload their replacer but if you want one in the meantime just follow these instructions. Its only a 2 minute job:
1. Open the "HotD and GoT Dragons Standalone" mod folder
2. Inside "Meshes" create a new folder called "actors"
3. Inside "actors" create 3 new folders called "dlc01", "dlc02" and "dragon"
4. Inside "dlc01" create a folder called "dragon". Inside here paste the HotD or GoT dragon .nifs you want to replace the Legendary and Revered Dragons. Rename them to "dragon_icelake.nif" for the Revered, and "dragon_purple.nif" for the Legendary. The Dreamfyre and Seasmoke .nifs look good as those.
5. Go into "dlc02" and create a folder called "dragon". Inside "dragon" paste the HotD or GoT dragon .nif you want to replace the Serpentine Dragon, which Miraak rides. Rename it to "dragon_blackvariant.nif"?. None of them quite work as the Serpentine Dragon so use whatever. I made a personal retexture/remodel for mine.
6. Go into "actors/dragon" and create a folder called "character assets". Inside here paste the HotD or GoT dragon .nifs you want to replace Alduin and Parthurnax, then rename them to "alduin.nif" and "parthurnax.nif". The Black Dread .nif works well for Alduin. The GoT Dragon Ally Replacer mod already changes Parthurnax but you can change it again through this.
7. If you want to change Ohdaviing, go into "actors/dragon", paste your chosen .nif and rename it to "dragonohdaviin.nif". For some reason Ohdaviing isn't in the "character assets" folder. I like Bloodwyrn as Ohdaviing.
8. Go into "meshes/actors/dragon", where you put "ohdaviin.nif", and paste the HotD dragon .nifs you like and rename them "dragonforest.nif", "dragonsnow.nif", and "dragontundra.nif".
9. I'm not sure what the farskin .nifs do, but for completeness, paste your new "dragonsnow.nif" and "dragontundra.nif" into "meshes/actors/dragon/character assets" and rename them "farskin_snow.nif" and "farskin_tundra.nif".?
I'm unsure if the GoT dragon replacer touches Ancient or Elder Dragons. If not, you'll have to dig through the .nif files to find them.
Used it to change Alduin into the Blackdread, i'm loving it!!
Thanks again.
