This mod adds craft-able 1 handed versions of the 2 handed weapons in game, including Dawnguard & Dragonborn ones.
This was scratch made using the SSE CK & assets.
Details:
Bear in mind some of these weapons are very large & will be sheathed at the waist like other 1 handed weapons so may clip into the side of your character a bit in 3rd person.
I've tested every weapon, albeit with a level 1 character & console commands, but leave a comment if there is an issue. The mod shouldn't have incompatibilities as it only relies on base game assets in as far as referencing the artefact IDs & creates standalone Forms etc..

Details:
- The crafting options will appear once the 2 handed perk "Warmaster" has been taken. The idea being you work your way up to master 2 handed weapons then use the 'same' weapons to rank up your 1 handed skills.
- Each item needs the relevant smithing perk for the material type (i.e. to craft a Warmaster Ebony Axe you need Ebony Smithing).
- It is also possible to craft 1 handed versions of the Nord hero & Skyforge Steel sets, as well as the Silver Greatsword, Executioner Axe (it is a big model that can interfere with the 1st person camera when sheathed), Dawnguard Rune Hammer, Rueful Axe, Ebony Blade, Volendrung & the Axe of Ysgramor.
- The 1 handed artefact variants can only be crafted once the original has been obtained through completion of the relevant quest stages, & uses the original up in the process (the idea was using the forge as a way to basically flag the weapon as 1 or 2 handed, I didn't really want it to be crafted as such). Most should retain their original enchantments. They can be converted back to 2 handed versions using the same process. You will need the top perk of 1 handed to convert back at the moment.
- Technically you can level up smithing very fast costing nothing converting back & forth but i guess since this is PC with access to console commands there are easier ways to do this if so inclined & anyone trying a 'proper' play through has an easy way to limit the crafting of these artefacts to keep them unique.
- The models are standalone. Since they are clones of the original meshes re-textures will apply to them, but new meshes overwriting the original items will not.
