Introduction
Hello and welcome, this mod adds Witcher's as a player race, complete with two optional files.

One introduces the game mechanic from the Witcher series where you MUST use steel for humans and silver for monsters, or take sever damage penalty's.

The other adds resistance traits to animals monsters to make them more or less immune to either, frost, fire, or shock magic damage.

Finally in the miscellaneous section there are patches available for the two optional files for afew very popular Witcher like mods. Here is a list:

1. Glenmoril
2. Vigilant
3. Unslaad
4. Rigmor of Cyrodil (For the Minotaur's. added and to mark Rigmors race as a mundane creature)

More can be read below.

Description

Adds the Witcher race to the game as a playable race to Skyrim SE and Skyrim VR, not compatible with Oldrim(old skyrim).
Please enjoy the mod and I hope it gives you a lot of fun.

P.S. In the video is a follower mod I have been working on, she is at the very end. She will be custom voiced, I plan to release her soon. She will
be in working order, however she will also recieve updates such as more dialogue and possibly a  quest! I have one in mind
but it is massive!

Spells Added

  • Quen
  • Aard Gust

  • igni Blast
  • igni Stream

Race Stats
All Witcher Race stats are 2 - 3 times higher than any other human race. Witcher's regenerate Stamina and Magica about 2 times faster. Because this race is much stronger it is imperative to use combat enhancing mods. I provide which mods I recommend in the "recommended mods" section below.

Starting perks
  • Illusion: 5
  • Two Handed: 5
  • OneHanded: 10
  • Alchemy: 10
  • Light Armor: 10
  • Destruction: 10

 Install
Only use when starting a new game. Use Nexus Mod Manager 2 and download it.

I recommend running LOOT though because it will appropriately sort all mods you are using. In testing it always seemed to sort my mod correctly, although it is always wise to double check. Please, place this mod lower in the load order than any other hair, beard, or scar mods that you are using.

When playing as a Witcher. If this mod is not placed below any other hair, beard, or scar mods you are using, those mods will likely not be available to choose on the Witcher.

SilverForMonstersSteelForHumans.esp and WitcherMagicDamagesConjunctionoftheSpheres.esp can be installed at any time.

Uninstall
If you are playing as a Witcher in this play through do not uninstall it because your race will no longer exist and that will revert you to a simple Nord without eyes... Absolutly horrifying! This means that play through will be finished...

The optional files are safe to uninstall or reinstall at anytime, though the file that allows silver to work well against monsters is advised against uninstalling
mid-game.

SilverForMonstersSteelForHumans.esp and WitcherMagicDamagesConjunctionoftheSpheres.esp can be uninstalled at any time.

Further detail about SilverForMonstersSteelForHumans.esp
The conjunction of the sphere's caused monstrosities to enter skyrim...
Monsters roam the land that ordinary weapons, even daedric weapons, cannot help you against.
To deal with them you will need weapons that react with their unique magick makeup. These weapons must be silver.
Trolls, Dremora, Draugr, and many other horrors roam the world of Elder Scrolls after the conjunction's occurrence.
In fact, there are tales told that even a new type of nord passed through the portal on that vile frost
filled day of the conjunction. There were very few, but quickly throughout the land they became a necessity
and plentiful in number in heretic ways to deal with horrors most men could not.
These beings were known as Witcher's.
However, regardless of how good the Witcher's were they soon became shunned for their freakish nature they are now
a heresy to the 8 divines. Now entering the year of 4E 201 there remain only a handful of Witcher,
many do not even remember what they are called, however they still fear their grotesque eyes like a snake...
This Mod changes silver to do little damage to non-magical beings and great damage to magical beings since
the silver interrupts their mana pattern, in fact it disrupts mana period. To creatures born of foul
sorcery and magick it deals worse damage than just an ordinary man, mer, wizard, or witch.

Silver is 90% less effective against non-magical creatures.
Steel and other materials are 90% less effective against magical creatures.
DawnBreaker 80% less effective against mundane creatures, 100% effective against magical creatures, and deals plus 20 to undead.
The akavirii Katana now acts as silver weapons, minus the plus 20 advantage against undead, because the akavirii hunt magical creatures known as dragons.

Steel is for men, mer, and animals. Silver is for monsters...

All creatures are managed by two custom keywords into two categories to make this work. They only apply when you attack, otherwise
they are in a listening state. This damage modification only applies to the player so that follower weapons will still be useable without
the need to constantly switch weapons for each monster.

Further detail about WitcherMagicDamagesConjunctionoftheSpheres.esp
The monsters that plague the land are not just simple beasts.
Many have advanced and predatory intellect as well as many
advantages over men and mer.

Because of this it is imperative that a Witcher understands
which forms of magical damages of fire, ice, and shock
are effective against which monster...

Weilded correctly fire, shock, and ice spells are 20% more effective against a monster
Than they would be a man or mer. However, used incorrectly they
are 70% less effective. Stupidity and lack of understanding mean
a fast death for any Witcher.

-Ghosts are almost invincible unless you use Yrden bolt on them.

Horrifying Short Stories About Each Monster Written by Me...
I will add more stories soon. Can also be found in the respective mod word doc in the folder.

Draugr (Weak to Fire by 20%)
The Witcher’s lantern flickered as he entered the crypt, the heavy scent of decay choking the air. The Draugr’s risen form emerged from the
shadows, its hollow eyes filled with an unholy hunger. The Witcher swung his
flaming sword, but the beast’s rotting flesh was near impervious to the fire.
It reached out with freezing fingers, dragging the Witcher into an icy grip.
His heart raced, but the Draugr’s strength was overwhelming. Its claws raked
across his throat, silencing his screams. The last thing he felt was the
suffocating cold as his blood froze beneath the Draugr’s touch.
Spriggans (Normal - Weak to Fire by 20%)
The Witcher stepped into the cursed forest, the air thick with magic and decay. From the earth emerged the Spriggan, its wooden skin
creaking as it rose from the ground. He struck with fire, the flames licking at
the creature’s bark-like form, but it barely flinched. The Spriggan roared and
slammed its massive fist into the Witcher’s chest, sending him crashing to the
ground. He struggled to rise, but the creature’s claws raked across his chest,
piercing through armor and flesh. The Witcher gasped for air as his body
crumpled, the fire in his sword sputtering out as his life drained away.
Icewraith (Weak to Fire by 20%)
The Witcher trudged through the blizzard, his breath visible in the freezing air. Suddenly, from beneath the ice, the Icewraith appeared,
its form a chilling wraith of spectral frost. He raised his sword, setting it
aflame, but the wraith was too fast. The flames failed to touch it as the
Icewraith’s cold fingers wrapped around his chest. His heart froze with every
passing second. He staggered, unable to breathe, as the creature drained the
heat from his very soul. His vision blurred and darkened until all that
remained was the freezing silence of death.
Atronach (Frost - Weak to Fire by 20%)
The Witcher stood in the heart of the frozen cavern, the chilling air biting at his skin. The Frost Atronach appeared before him, its
massive, ice-covered form towering over him. He struck with his flaming sword,
but the creature's frozen body absorbed the fire. With a roar, the Atronach
slammed its fist into the Witcher’s chest, knocking him back. His bones cracked
under the immense force, and ice began to creep up his limbs. Despite his
efforts to fight back, the flames flickered and died, and the Atronach’s
crushing grip left him gasping for breath, frozen in place as the cold consumed
him.
Death Hound (Weak to Fire by 20%)
The Witcher ventured into the vampire crypts, his senses onhigh alert. The Death Hound leapt from the shadows, its glowing eyes burning
with malevolent hunger. He drew his sword, the fire flaring to life, but the
hound was too fast. It tore into his side with brutal force, its teeth sinking
deep into his flesh. He fought back, trying to strike with the sword, but his
vision blurred as blood poured from his wound. The hound’s claws shredded
through his chest, and as his body faltered, the creature ripped his throat
out, leaving him to bleed out in the cold, the fire in his blade slowly dying
with him.
Vampires (Weak to Fire by 20%)
The Witcher entered the vampire’s lair, his heart racing. The vampire stood at the far end of the chamber, its eyes gleaming with cruel
amusement. He ignited his sword with fire, but the vampire’s speed was too
much. It darted forward, avoiding the flames and slashing at his flesh with
razor-sharp claws. Each strike drew blood, weakening him. He managed to strike
a glancing blow, but the vampire was already behind him. Its fangs sank deep
into his neck, draining him of life. The last thing the Witcher felt was the
heat of the fire fading as he succumbed to the vampire’s embrace.
Trolls (Weak to Fire by 20%)
The cave was damp and stifling, and the Witcher could barely see through the thick shadows. The troll’s low growls reverberated through the
stone. When it appeared, the Witcher drew his sword, igniting the flames, but
the creature barely flinched. It charged with immense force, knocking him to
the ground with a single blow. The Witcher struggled to rise, but his leg was
crushed under the troll’s weight. Flames sputtered out as the creature’s claws
raked across his chest, tearing through his armor. The last thing he saw was
the troll’s gaping maw as it finished him off, the fire in his sword dying out.
Giants (Weak to Fire by 20%)
The Witcher climbed the jagged cliffs, his breath coming in ragged gasps. The giant loomed at the summit, its massive body blocking out the
sky. He swung his sword, fire flashing, but the creature was too large. With a
swing of its club, the giant knocked him off his feet, sending him tumbling
down the rocky slope. The Witcher’s body hit the stones with brutal force, and
his ribs cracked under the impact. The giant’s foot came down, crushing his
body beneath its massive weight. The flames on his sword sputtered out, his
life extinguished as the giant’s shadow consumed him.
Skeletons (Weak to Fire by 20%)
The Witcher moved through the tombs, the sound of his boots echoing in the silent crypt. Suddenly, skeletal hands erupted from the ground,
dragging themselves free from their burial grounds. He ignited his sword with
fire, slashing through the first wave of skeletons, but their numbers were
overwhelming. One grabbed his arm, pulling him into the horde. The fire
flickered weakly as more skeletons climbed over him, their bony fingers
piercing his flesh. The Witcher struggled, but they tore him apart, his sword
barely holding the flame before the last of his strength left him, leaving him
to be consumed by the relentless tide of bones.
Atronachs (Fire) (Weak to Frost by 20%)
The Witcher entered the heart of the volcano, sweat pouring down his brow from the intense heat. The Fire Atronach stood before him, its
molten body burning with an otherworldly fury. He struck with frost, but the
heat from the Atronach burned through his spells. The flames of its body
engulfed him, and he cried out as his flesh sizzled from the heat. He tried to
shield himself, but the Atronach’s relentless fire overwhelmed him, his body
writhing in agony as he was consumed by the flames. The fire in his sword
flickered out, and his last scream was drowned out by the roar of the inferno.
Reiklings (Weak to Frost by 20%)
The Witcher wandered deeper into the blizzard, his movements slow as the storm worsened. Suddenly, the Reiklings appeared, their glowing
eyes gleaming with malice. He raised his sword, frost crackling along its edge,
but they were too quick. They darted in and out, their small blades slicing
through his skin. The cold seeped into his body, and with every step, he grew
weaker. He swung his sword, but his movements were sluggish, the frost failing
to keep the creatures at bay. One of the Reiklings struck a fatal blow to his
side, and his vision darkened as the last of his strength left him, lost in the
biting cold.
Ash Guardians (Weak to Frost by 20%)
The Witcher stepped into the volcanic temple, sweat pouring down his face from the heat. The Ash Guardians rose from the ground, their
molten bodies burning with an unnatural heat. He summoned frost, but the power
of the flame was too much. His spells barely slowed the creatures down. One of
the Ash Guardians lunged at him, its molten fist crashing into his chest. His
armor cracked under the blow, and the heat began to sear his flesh. The Witcher
tried to fight back, but the creatures overwhelmed him, their fiery strength
too much. His body burned as the flames consumed him, leaving only ashes
behind.
Ghosts (Weak to Lightning, Strong to Everything Else)
The Witcher entered the haunted manor, the temperature dropping rapidly as he stepped inside. The ghost appeared before him, its
translucent form flickering between realms. He summoned a bolt of lightning,
but the ghost was too fast, shifting just out of reach. Each strike of
lightning failed to do any harm, while the ghost drained his energy with every
touch. His sword crackled with the last remnants of lightning, but the ghost’s
power only grew. As the Witcher collapsed, exhausted and weak, the ghost’s laughter
echoed in the air, and his final breath was swallowed by the darkness.
Falmer (Weak to All)
The Witcher descended into the cold, damp caverns, the air thick with the stench of mildew and decay. His lantern flickered dimly as the
eerie glow of Falmer eyes pierced the darkness. They slithered from the
shadows, their grotesque forms barely Mer, twisted and hunched. He raised his
sword, the flames crackling brightly, but there were too many of them—dozens,
if not more. The fire failed to hold them back as the creatures closed in,
claws scraping against the stone floor. One of them lunged, slashing deep
across his chest, while another sunk its fangs into his neck. Blood poured from
the gashes as the Witcher stumbled back, barely able to hold his ground. He
fought desperately, but his sword grew heavier with each passing moment, and
the Falmer’s relentless swarm began to overpower him. The last thing he heard
was the sound of their sickening, guttural laughter as they feasted on his
flesh, his life slipping away…
