Well that is kinda weird I give you that :D At least it got rid of the seam
Can you please try it with Mari's glowing mushroom textures, just so I can rule out some weird ENB-related visuals or similar. The rally's one looks closest to intended but they all should mimic the glowing mushroom tentacles seen in the pics.
It seems to be good. It's just brighter than the v1.0 (check first post). Mari then Rally : https://i.goopics.net/s69752.jpg https://i.goopics.net/rxoj8y.jpg
Love the mod! Noticed by using BOS to replace all static falmer drips with the animated ones that the animation was not working. Did some digging on arcane university and found vertex alpha and vertex colors shader flags need to be set in the meshes for them to animate for bsleafanimnodes. Tested the changes on your meshes for myself and seems to solve the issue.
Yeah this is one of the older mods of mine I really should go for a second round with, plenty of little issues I'd like to tackle. Imma redo the whole thing in near-future along with some other oldies. Thank you!
Im waiting for someone, who made realy smooth and round dirtcliffs, smim looks fine, but in 2022 we have so powerfull machines, i think they realy need a high poly rework, and i know, you have the skill for this, because im using some mods from you, and they are superb ;)
Thanks mate! :) messing with terrain meshes introduces a host of compatibility problems unfortunately, and retopoing terrain is limited by the edges of the mesh as generally they are set pixelperfectly to their surroundings. I've been messing with some markarth meshes recently but struggling to come up with a workflow that would end up with changes small enough to not cause compatability/clipping/terrain hole nightmare but big enough to justify the higher polycount and actually look decent. It's tough to balance around the multitude of issues that it causes. Currently I'm using SMIM and textures with strong parallax to add some depth to them, they don't look all that bad.
Ah, its more complex than i think, thank you for explanation. I have testet the new parallax occlusion for landscape, looks absolutly epic, perhaps this feature will fix this ugly edges thing :D
Couldn't reproduce but I may have a hunch of the problem. Could you please check the new file under Misc with your name on it to see if that sorts it out? Thanks! :)
Whew, perfect. Imma make that download the default one since it didn't break anything on my end and later fix some UV issues I ran into while troubleshooting for this one.
This is why authors love good bug reports, thanks again! :)
Wont work but easily patched, see description for more. Would release a patch but closed perms and I haven't yet asked if it'd be okay for me to release a patch.
