I am having the weirdest issue. I've used this mod for a long time so I don't think its caused by it, but for some reason the mod now applies fire and shock effects to every npc or creature that dies. Regardless of how. Even punching a chicken will cause the fire and shock effects to apply. What else could be happening that this mod would think everyone is getting shocked. Same happens if you kill an npc using console. What in the world could cause this?
Hello, The flames of a burning npc appear in squares, I don't know if it's clear but I can provide an image if needed. This may be coming from my ENB but is there a setting in the ENB settings to make the squares disappear ? This doesn't appear with the other flames or fires in the game. I use Embers XD and LUX together.
Will the effects stay after reanimating the corpse? If yes, If dead thrall or ritual stone is used and they die again to elemental magic will the new effect replace the old one or will it overlay on top?
No overlays, it's a game engine thing....only one fx shader allowed at a time so yes, effect shaders from reanimation are going to look glitchy....and without implementing performance sucking monitoring scripts we just have to chalk it up to the game engine limitation.
hi gavwhittaker, i'm thinking of switching from Frozen Electrocuted Combustion to your mod but i must ask some questions before that.
the main reason why i want to move from fec is due to the annoying issues i have that i never found a fix(fec in the bottom of load order). for example i have an issue with char effect, when i take cloths from dead npc i get this ,so if i have mods for npc and skins will this happen with your mod too?
i also have an issue when the textures of charred creatures like trolls or skeevers reverts back after the effect has finished(like they have never been burned). i don't know if maybe those mods TROLL, Fluffworks (Fluffy Animals) are at fault, if i use your mod will the textures load correctly?
what i need to know if those problems won't happen with your mod too since i'm tired of fec and those issues what i want is a good stable mod that is also good for vr. i'm sorry for all the questions but i really want to use your mod instead of fec!
2nd is not a FEC issue but instead a game engine issue with shaders. I've done my utmost to minimise this with my mod although if you have multiple mods all vying to apply shaders, this can happen

also one last question, does your mod have mcm? so i can control maybe the lighting of the effects or which effect will be used what i really don't want is for the enemies i kill to turn to ash pile
looking at your load order - RASS snow shaders can interfere with FEC and my End of Life mod. Only in snowy environments however and subject to your mcm settings

about mcm that's ok i don't mind it but in your mod is there an ash pile effect and is it possible to disable it since i hate that effect?

No to ash piles, burned bodies with charred effect for example but no ash piles. And yes to RASS ref snow shaders possibly conflicting with my mod effect shaders. It's a game engine thing. You're welcome, cheers.
wait, RASS gives snow shaders to animals as well? is there a solution for this since i really like the immersion it gives in vr? "No to ash piles" so your mod doesn't have that effect or its a mod that removes it?
my second question is if there is a way to stop RASS from messing with the textures of creatures? so that the issue of char textures getting reversed to the clean textures of creatures in FEC won't happen again with your mod!

i completely disabled rass and fluffworks then i killed some skeevers but still the textures got reset after the effect has finished. but when i tried with your mod i works perfectly so i guess something is wrong with fec i also noticed that if i burn skeevers a second time it works normally so i really don't get what wrong with fec
about you mod i decided to use it since it works great but i was wondering if it's possible to speed up the process of the effect like burning? and is it possible to add more flames to that effect? can i use xedit for that?
this does the same as maximum destruction from what i can see, which i already have, and know it works well. would i download this mod for overall better performance of my game? its less laggy? easier on the cpu? why use this mod over maximum destruction?

End of Life does not add or remove ash piles. With this mod, If you flame an actor or animal in game they burn, char and smolder....no ash pile.

More 🔥 - you're the 1st person to ask this. What flames mod are you using? I use Embers XD and get more than enough flames....
