For those curious about the reach, here's the hitbox shown via the debug drawing from Precision. And for comparison, here's the vanilla iron sword hitbox debug drawing. I think it looks just about right.
Do you have the Ebony Smithing perk? Since this battleaxe has the same stats as the vanilla Ebony battleaxe I've made the Ebony Smithing a requirement for crafting the Lunar Guard Battleaxe as well.
The ID depends on your load order. Type this in the console command to get the item ID:help "lunar guard"
i donwload a mod that unlock forge, but dsnt apper, i need to download another mod to distribute this for khajits, then i kill a khajit. Also there is a visual bug/conflict with Compreensive 1 person, my character holds in the blade, anything i can do to correct weapon position? if i change weapon scale to 1.5 looks good and it hold correct, but other weapons looks too big
No idea how to fix the bug conflict with Comprehensive First Person, sorry. I don't use it myself and I don't know how that mod was made, so I've got no clue what's causing the bug.
I assigned SoulCalibur VI Kilik I Quarterstaff moveset (MCO I SCAR) to this. The handle is too short to use as a polearm for me. Fortunately, it is single-bladed, so there will be no discomfort if you hold the blade in your hand during the motion.

Since this mesh does not contain an INV, it is not possible to set a default offset for the 3D items in the inventory. Paste all BSTriShapes from the Lunar Guard Battleaxe mesh into a normal battleaxe mesh and delete all original BSTriShapes. It is because adding an INV does not work, as the INV will not function unless the Index is smaller than.
The only thing that looks a bit weird on this axe is how far up the back of the character it's stored when not in use. But I guess it can't be lowered further down because of drawing animations?
I also think it's turning the wrong way when placed on weapon racks

For the position on the back and being flipped on the weapon racks, I'm not 100% sure what's causing it, but I assume it's because I'm trying to fit a glaive proportions onto the proportions of battle axes. The world interacts with the glaive as if it's a battleaxe, because that's how I added it to the game, so the animations/weapon racks treat it like a shorter, broader battle-axe instead of a thinner, longer glaive. This would be an animation restriction and beyond my skills to fix.
I'm running into the issue on weapon racks. Trying to figure out how to fix it myself because I really want to use this and the Lunar Guard Armor as something of a display piece. The weapon is horizontal on the rack for some reason but I'm not entirely sure how to fix it.
It being horizontal gave me the impression that there was an actual bug going instead of it looking wonky, so I hopped in the game myself to see what's going on (I never use weaponracks/homes, so I completely missed this on my initial implementation test).
Good news and bad news: the good news is, I found the culprit. The bad news is, I have absolutely no idea how to fix it and neither does Bethesda apparently. I used the orcish battleaxe as a 'base' to import my weapon with, because they have very similar proportions. As such it has inherited a lot of data from the orcish battleaxe: it sits high on the player's back, just like the orcish battleaxe and apparently, it glitches out on the weapon racks, exactly like the orcish battle axe.
If anyone knows of a mod that fixes the orcish battleaxe, so I can take a look at how it's supposed to be fixed, let me know.
I do plan on making swords yes. Not a katana though, because I feel like it would look too similar to Akaviri weapons (which primarily take inspiration from Japanese weapons). Current concepts I have for the longsword and greatsword are based on Turko-Mongol sabres and Chinese dao.
Is there anyway to make this mod work with Spear Soldier animations? I've been fiddling with it for a couple hours and I'll be honest, I'm not very bright with this. I've tried finding ways to change the keyword, but no such luck. Was using Nolvus and just can't wrap my head around changing the animations of this. The Animated Armory patch just causes the game to crash. Just curious about any tips.
Your lunar guard armor and this weapon are breathtaking! Absolutely looking forward to more weapons. Especially looking forward to a bow (maybe also quiver combo) as that is my main go to weapon. Thank you for your gorgeous work!

I prefer my Khajiit to throw Hands
