Q: Does my interior mod need a patch? A: Probably not. Because this mod isn't touching anything that would be placed in interiors, it can usually overwrite every record below it.
Just FYI, I made a Synthesis patcher to forward these edits to winning cells. Should make it compatible with all mods without extra patches. You can find it in Synthesis under AcousticSpaceImprovementsPatcher
Hey, love the idea of this Synthesis patcher. I generated a pretty small patch that forwards 3 records: two in Riften and PavosHouse. Unfortunately the patch generated seems to cause a reliable CTD when loading into Solitude. It's absolutely bizarre since there's only three records modified and none of them are solitude but I thought I'd post here. Has anyone else encountered an issue like this?
Sigh, nevermind. It looks like this was some other issue caused by SPID that was inconsitently erroring so I thought it was because of this patch.
It should be useful no matter what, as far as I know. All it does is ensure your winning cell edit has the acoustic space settings from this mod. :)
Edit: The question is probably because of my mention of Lux in GitHub. That's just saying...make sure to load ASI's plugin before whatever mod you want to "win" the cell edit. Typically it's Lux. Not sure if Light Placer modifies cells in the same way, but safe to say just load ASI early and you'll be good.
Trying to figure out how to remove reverb when using DBVO from my character's voice when indoors and 3rd person. Mod author's "patch" doesn't do anything, so wondering if a patch would make more sense on here since DBVO's author isn't able to address.
Patch for ELFX Enhancer – ELFX Shadows will not work if you are using Sounds of Skyrim and ELFX Enhancer – ELFX Shadows. As in ELFX Shadows installer when you choose Sounds of Skyrim option. Enchancer.esp will be called ELFXEnhancer - SOS Edition.esp. So patch in your Fomod will be missing its master. Could you fix this?

It's highly recommended you use a reverb and ambience mod, like Reverb Interior Sounds Expansion.

Q: Is this compatible with Audio Overhaul for Skyrim SE or Reverb Interior Sounds Expansion?
A: Yes! This mod was actually created as a companion (but vanilla-friendly) mod to these.
Q: Does my interior mod need a patch?
A: Probably not. Because this mod isn't touching anything that would be placed in interiors, it can usually overwrite every record below it.
For example, if you're using Cooking Pots in Inns or Distinct Interiors, you're likely fine. If you're using something like JK's Sinderion's Field Laboratory, there is a one record conflict where the author adjusts the lighting template to be warmer.
The appropriate BASH tag has been added to the plugin, for users who would need it.

This conflict between lightning and sounds is eternal, lol
There's also the Synthesis patcher "AcousticSpaceImprovementsPatcher".
