You saved my life. Now I have Last Seed + Eating Animations and Sounds SE and I can see my character drinking water from waterskins instead of cups.I would also like to see animations of collecting water from wells, rivers, etc.
Cheers! I'm not sure if there's animations for those but i'm sure it's doable since e.g. Dirt and Blood plays washing animations when it is triggered in water.
Sure. I have the "Keep it Clean" mod and it's a shame that engines now allow you to come up with complex animations of combat and movement, but there is no such trivial thing as collecting water for provisions
I don't see how it wouldn't work unless Last Seed updated its formids. I'll take a quick look when I get a chance.
Otherwise, I think LS has some sort of animations built in that have to be disabled in MCM for EAS to work. Unless you're referring to the spoiled foods not showing up as spoiled?
food and drinks are triggering the default game animations, probably the ones that either come with the game or the CC survival (I have that survival mode disabled though)
same setup used to work fine on a previous installation, so I know how the animations look like. If i disable animations from the mod, then no animation plays when I drink or eat.
I got it to work. Dont ask me how cause I dont know. I reinstalled a million times. Eventually removed the download from vortex and redownloaded it again. I think that did the trick. Thanks for the awesome mod!
No, it just sits in your /Data folder. You do have Keyword Item Distributor as well as Eating Animations installed correctly, right? If it's not working for anyone else, I'd have to check if Last Seed changed their keywords in the TFN compatibility patch, but I doubt that would have happened.
I have to be more clear. I use improved Camera. Animations works fine in 3rd person but not in 1st person. The old Eating Animations mod did it out of the box.
Got it working with Improved camera. No i have to set Y and X to get it correct. I enabled this in IC ini. Still using Beta 1 btw. I think it is still the best.
; Forces the camera to stay in 1st person if the view is switched to 3rd person other than by pressing the Switch POV Key ; Can be used to increase compatibility with custom animation mods but there may be bugs bForceFirstPersonCamera=1
Hopefully you don't have to patch it again... but Last Seed's author published another update a few minutes ago. I saw it so early, that I don't think he's even finished writing the changelog yet.
Very nice and appreciated. Question, would you know if I'd need to wait for an apothecary food addon patch? From what I recall, it only needed patching because apothecary modified the magic effects gained from food. But now that EAAS uses keywords, that shouldn't be a problem anymore?
Just checked, apothecary food adds 19 new food records - all but one use vanilla hearthfire models and can be patched with keywords. Wrothgarian Rum uses magus\apothecary\winebottle06.nif and would 'technically' need a patch adding a new animation, although realistically you could point it at spiced wine and call it a day.
Patch up. The rum uses the Argonian Bloodwine model, with a different texture. So again, some visual inconsistency, but all foods are working.
