I got a little confused as it says that carriage isn't supported but the old version recommended Carriage and Ferry Travel Overhaul and "the script fta_fasttravelplayeralias.pex uses the GetFormFromFile command to work with CFTO.esp" as pointed by hoangdai94. So I'll be testing it out, aswell as fast travelling while horsemounted, and will brb with feedback.
make an imaginary line from where you are starting from and where you want to fast travel to. origin is the start of that line, where you are standing.
Midway is exactly in the middle of that line of travel. the land that is halfway from where you start and where you end.
Destination is where you end up after all is said and done.
With mcm you can give odds to where an encounter will take place, aside from whether there is an encounter at all. So you can have the chance of an encounter at 60 % odds. If one takes place, you can set an encounter to happen halfway there at 50 percent odds, and give a chance at the encounter taking place at the end at 25%, and near where you start at 25%.
the placement of enemies depends on nearby landmarks the mod can use. they are sometimes a bit way off and you may not see them . This should be rare though, not the norm. the mod mechanics are extremely hard, and getting it to work as well as it does took many weeks and months of tweaking. the fast travel is interrupted , whether an encounter takes place is calculated, and the location. the player is moved to a couple of miles above the location, IN THE SKY, to allow the land to load. it is the only way. then a landmark is looked for. then the player character is moved there before he falls to his death and the player notices he is in space. and at the same time a good place to spawn enemies is looked for. all this does not always work out.

More challenge Beside, please help me with some questions 1/ Will this spawn Dark Brotherhood Assassin, Dremora, Thalmor ambush? 2/ I'm using it combine with extended enounter (I disable the fast travel encounter of "Extended Enounter")/ Genesis/ Ultimate Deadly Encounter. Is it safe to combine these 3 with your mod. i love to be get raped everwhere :) 3/ I tend to put the odd of ambush 100%. about ambush location, what u think is the best Odds for Origin, Midway, Destination to avoid travel to underground ? 4/ There was 1 encounter with werewolf, i put number of enemies to 3 (x4= 12). 3 werewolf not hostile. i have to talk to them to make them hostile. I know not your mod. But idk why it happen :) Thanks
I am being spammed with the message "trip was short" every 20 seconds or so in the upper left hand corner of my screen which induces a minor hiccup in the gameplay as well... Sadly , it looks like I will have to uninstall since there is no way to turn that off in the settings.

Mod isn't working for me I have no idea why, playing in VR, only travel mod I have installed is better fast travel carriages and ships with this mod loaded after, it only adds carriages and ships so don't think it would conflict, only other thing I can think of maybe is that I installed mid playthrough it doesn't specify if a new save is needed to my knowledge. Other than that, I have no idea why it isn't working, it shows up in the MCM I have the chance set to 100% but nothing ever happens when I fast travel. edit; just tried on a new save still nothing.
Do a fake new game by using command coc riverwood at load screen, in the command prompt. Invoke it with the tilde key.. then sets odds to 100,and test.

I disabled sicknesses when fast traveling, but I get them anyway,
I reduce the chances of ambush happening down to 10%, but they still happen every single fast travel
