A FOMOD installer has been created to help with choosing which of the optional dogs you might/might not want.
Fixed the incorrect Version number in the File Header that was causing a LOOT error.
Renamed the files to be consistent - this means you'll need to delete the old esp if you're updating from 1.0. I apologize for the inconvenience!
In the base Kaidan follower mod, Kaidan has a small handful of generic lines that allow him to talk to both Meeko and Vigilance. This patch allows Kaidan to use those same lines of dialogue to also talk to:
Bran (Dawnguard husky)
Sceolang (Dawnguard husky)
Garmr (Volkihar death hound)
CuSith (Volkihar death hound)
Bone Wolf (Creation Club) - optional
New! Nix Hound (Creation Club) - optional
New! Gladys the Corgi - optional
New! Merlin the Corgi - optional
I also slightly reduced the frequency of these lines firing, fixed a couple of minor subtitle errors, and replaced the "fuzzy" corrupted audio files with the "cleaner" files from the original Kaidan 1 mod.
Installation:
There are two main files, pick only ONE.
- one includes ONLY the Dawnguard DLC dogs (the huskies and death hounds) - one includes a FOMOD installer that let's you pick and choose which of the optional dogs you want (the Dawnguard DLC dogs are included by default)
I would recommend using a mod manager to install the mod. If you want to manually install the FOMOD version, you'll need to choose the folder that matches which dogs you want in order to find the correct esp. The folders are labeled with the first letters of the dog's name. So for example, if you want to use the Bone Wolf(BW) and Gladys(G), find the folder with "BW + G". You'll want to move the Sound folder over as well if you want to hear the "clean" audio files. (But seriously, use a mod manager! They are so handy, especially when it comes to removing mods you no longer want!)
The patches are all marked ESL so they won't take up a spot in your load order.
