About this mod

You know all of those scarcity mods? This is the opposite of that. Exponentially increases the amount of loot nearly everywhere.

Way Too Much Loot

You know how you walk into your house in Skyrim and there's like a bajillion things? Things you've been hoarding for years and will probably never, ever need? You clearly have a problem. This mod boldly asks the question: "What if everyone else had that problem too?"

Way Too Much Loot adds an excessive amount of loot to nearly all of the most common sources in the game. For most sources, loot is roughly tripled and additional items are added on top of that tripling. Things such as ore, salts, ingredients, gems, gold, and food are much more common and can be found nearly everywhere.

Basics Of The Mod:

Where is loot increased?
Loot is increased in chests, boss chests, barrels, furniture, sacks, coin purses, and the DeathItems of various actors. Some of the additions are moderately immersive, such as predatory animals now having the meat from prey on them and prey animals now having herbs and ingredients. Other things are slightly less immersive, like raiding a crypt and walking out with 896,000 gold worth of loot by the end of it.

Why?
My original intention was for the amount of added loot to be reasonable, but I quickly gave up on that. What I really needed was a mod that gave me an unreasonable amount of loot very quickly for when I need to test other mods. This mod does that. You will never want for anything ever again.

How is the loot added?
It depends on the item. Some things, like DeathItems, were altered by making alterations to levelled lists. That should allow for maximum compatibility as long as you have a bashed patch. No actors were altered directly that weren't already dead (Such as Treasure Corpses, which now legitimately have treasure). Some containers were altered, such as furniture, chests, and boss chests. Things are only added. Nothing is subtracted from any list, container, or actor.

What is this NOT compatible with?
There should not be any game-breaking incompatibilities. If you want Way Too Much Loot to not interfere with other mods, put it high in your load order. That will allow other mods below it that alter the same record to take priority. If you put Way Too Much Loot near the end of your load order, WTML will overwrite the changes from any mod above it. I would recommend checking for compatibility with your particular modlist.

Questions I Anticipate Having To Answer:

~Can you make a patch for "Boob Cages of Skyrim, SPID Distributed Bras Growing Out Of Tundra Cotton, with Realistic Physics"?
No. I am not willing to put that much effort into this. But you can.

~What happens if I comment "This mod adds too much loot" in the comments section?~

I will roast you. I will roast you hard. I will make deep and cutting insults to your literacy skills and insult your family line going back a dozen generations. If you add comment about your immersion being broken, I will add extra sass to my response.

~How much loot does this actually add?~
Too much.

~This mod added so much loot that my game wasn't fun anymore.~
That's what "Too Much" means.

~What can I do with this mod?~
Whatever you want. If you publish an altered version please give me credit. I go by "Sparky88101, Lord of the Watermelons and Second King of the Poppy Fields"

~Can you turn this into an .esl?~
No.

~Why not?~
Because I don't need it to be an .esl. I don't have forty mods that add toenail textures like you do. Maybe you should rethink your priorities and cut down your modlist, you toenail-obsessed weirdo.
