About this mod

A simple mod that uses Spell Perk Item Distributor to randomly distribute higher value items to wealthy NPCs making them more attractive pickpocket targets. ESL flagged.

A mod to make pick-pocketing more attractive and more lucrative. I've made two groups of NPCs, Affluent and Rich. Each group has a random chance to have high value items in their inventory for you to steal. 'Affluent' NPCs will have mid to high value stuff and 'Rich' NPCs will have mostly higher value items.

I'm keeping the description deliberately vague so as to not to make it too easy but there will be a mix of jewellery items (rings, necklaces and circlets), high value potions, precious gems and other expensive items.

I've designated the groups using a number of factors, again, I'm keeping it vague (although you can check the distribution file if you want to know more). Affluent NPCs are typically management level like Thanes, stewards, guild leaders etc. Rich NPCs are Jarls, family heads, land owners and similar.

As the mod uses SPID to distribute items it should be compatible with pretty much anything without the need for patches as no NPC records or levelled lists are affected.

FAQ

Will items reset in NPC's inventory? No, they're distributed once only.

Do the NPCs have more gold? No, just items for pick-pocketing.

Are merchants affected? No, for merchants see my other mod Wealthy Merchants.

Can I edit the values? Yes, you can add or remove NPC names from the keyword lists. You can edit the number of items given by altering the last but one number in the distribution line and the percentage chance by changing the last number.

For example

; Gold Ruby Necklace
Item = 000877DC~Skyrim.esm|TypeRich|NONE|NONE|NONE|1|30

If you want the NPC to receive 2 necklaces instead of 1, change the 1 to a 2. If you want a higher or lower chance, change the 30 to a higher or lower number.

As SPID is an SKSE plug-in you can add or remove the mod at any time. The mod is ESL flagged.

To install, use your mod manager of choice or just unzip and drop the files into your Skyrim data directory.
