The setting for the menu hotkey does not apply itself on new games. You have to enable then disable it for it to be disabled on game start. Also it cannot be toggled back and forth within the MCM, you have to exit after enabling/disabling then reenter the MCM
Works fine, quick test (on the top left you can see what keys I'm pressing): It turns out that the video shows an bug, I have no idea why I didn't see it. Here something fun, as a replacement:
Didn't work, still activates on game load with option disabled in MCM
Also doing a clean install with no MCM setting, the toggle option is default set to on. If you go into the MCM and disable it, the hotkey still works. You have to go into the MCM a second time, toggle it back on, exit (because you can't toggle within the same MCM session), then go into it a third time and disable it
Hmm, I will look into it again. I was sure it worked for me. The toggle option is default set to on in main mod too, so I just did the same in loader. I think I need to change more just MCM to fix it. Sadly this is based on quest not on simple hotkey, so it behaves really strange.
