You have to modify the model (nif) and add hair section, or maybe just paint short one on her textures. In the first case they would conflict with the veil.
Are the clothes by any chance craft-able for the player to use? I'd love to play as a wisp-mother and do massive cold spells. Wouldn't even mind walking around on two feet while looking like her. This mod is truly 10/10.
As dark as this sounds there have been (dead) people found on Everest that remained very intact, other than glassy eyes, noticeable skin bleaching and hair loss these people look very much alive. the wisp mother here looks very hauntingly beautiful and a lot like one of these corpses. makes me wonder if that's what bethesda was going for. its interesting.
I downloaded all your mods. But to be honest... as a Fireball spamming wizard, I barely get a look at them at a distance before I start firing at them! But I guess I can fly my camera over to them to admire the details before I attack ;) Thanks!
She looks great! I also use The Fantasy Followers Mod that adds a Wispmother Follower, and she appears to pull your textures, but her fabric doesn't appear as covering and her legs are really noticeably cut off looking. Any suggestions?
The fabrics are essential., she is suspended in the air and the fabric acquires that cut. I don't know that mod, I should install it to understand why it remove the cloth. Links?
Here is the link to the Follower Mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1154 She can be found at Frostflow Light House. Her fabric is still there, but it shows up really light for some reason. I haven't met any Wispmothers in the Wild yet to see if they have the same issue.
That's an esp file, but I haven't the Construction Kit installed. Look, mine are just textures and they take the place of the default vanilla, it is very hard they can make any error. Indeed to me she work, just tested:
So, 1) You can try another cloth (I gave 3 options during the installation), or 2) you can try to deactivate my mod to see how she looks, or you can open the console (\) write "tdetect" then click start, then write "player.placeatme 23ABD" then click start, then close the console. Tdetect will make you friendly with all the enemies to not be attacked so you have the time to take a look. Placeatme will makes a Wispmother to appear behind you.
Well, I checked out the Wild Wisps and they have the same problem, so I decided to remove your texture and found that even the default vanilla texture was doing that. I traced the problem to the Extra Smooth Mesh Mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1383?tab=posts I went into the mod folder and manually removed the wisp mesh and it fixed the problem.
Thanks! I know textures will work in SSE from classic Skyrim, but I keep hearing they need to be nif optimized and changed to a new format, etc. Not sure how much of it is actually true.
Ah, gotchya. So with .nifs you would run them through the nif optimizer and then convert textures to BC7 I heard? Looks like Nvidia's Photoshop plug-in doesn't have that option, but Intel's does. Is that all that needs to be done?
Yes, nif have to be optimized for SE, or they could cause problems. BC7 isn't really needed to the textures to work. It is just a better quality compression for normal maps.

Which of you would lay a wispmother if you had the chance?
Thanks!
