About this mod

Slightly lower your character's arms when moving in unarmed combat status.

I always thought that in the vanilla unarmed moving animations, the player character's arms are raised too high, which seems unnatural and already losing extra stamina before you hit someone. I'm not practicing any sort of fighting techniques, so I guess it's also possible that it is actually a standard fighting idle.

There are plenty of good-looking unarmed animations in the community that I love and been using, in vanilla combat system or MCO, including idles, equiping, unequiping, attacks, powerattacks, bashing, etc. so I want to find some "more relaxed" running and walking animations to complement the unarmed experiece, but I couldn't find one (if there are some out there please let me know, thanks in advance!)

By using Maxsu's super-handy tool Show Animation Command, I happen to know that the unarmed running & walking animations are, very likely, not handled by the usual moving pack of 1hm_runforward/backward...etc. (there's no h2h_runforward/backward pack in Skyrim's vanilla animation folder) but by one single file: h2h_locomotionpose.hkx. So I made a simple animation of slightly lowered arms to replace this hkx and it did change both running and walking arms position. I don't know whether it's all that needs to be done, but so far I didn't find any glitches so I decided to share it here.

The comparison between vanilla and modded animations are shown in the video and the images that are cut from the video. The male character is topless so you can see the arms clearly.

REQUIREMENT

None.

INSTALLATION
1. Use your mod organizer or manually drag it into "data/meshes/actors/character/animations".
2. (Optional) rerun Nemesis or FNIS. I don't think it's necessary because it worked for me without rerunning the tool, but if it doesn't work for you, try if rerun fixes it for you.

It's one hkx file and nothing more. Only possible conflict is it being overwritten by another mod. Safe to uninstall anytime.
