About this mod

Fixes error in Nemesis Unlimited Behavior Engine that happens on most non-US locales. If you get ERROR(5001), this is the mod for you!

IMPORTANT NOTE
I highly recommend trying out Pandora Behaviour Engine (https://github.com/Monitor144hz/Pandora-Behaviour-Engine-Plus). It is being updated regularly and could work better than Nemesis for some load orders. I will keep this mod up for the rest, but I won't use it anymore.

Pandora is unfinished, but for my recent load order, it works. If you struggle to make it work, just ignore it for the time being and keep using Nemesis.

What does this mod do?
If you run Nemesis Unlimited Behavior Engine and your system locale is not set to English (US), chances are, you get the following error:

ERROR(5001): Invalid format has been detected in "animationsetdatasinglefile.txt". Please contact the template creator or mod author
Project: DefaultFemaleData\DefaultFemale.txt
Header: DragonMountedMRhSolo_ShieldOrTorch.txt
Failed to generate behavior

This error occurs because the file is created in the wrong way (that depends on the system locale).

The only way to fix this error is to get a valid copy of the animationsetdatasinglefile.txt file and replace the wrongly generated one every time you click Update Engine. That means every time you add/remove/edit a behavior mod. This is cumbersome and tedious, so I created a single batch file to do this with a single click and decided to share it.

How to use it?
  • Install using MO2
  • Add FixNemesis.bat as an executable:
In Mod Organizer 2, switch the tab on the right panel to Data and locate the file in the Data directory, as shown in the picture

  • Whenever you use Nemesis, after clicking the Update Engine button, close Nemesis and run FixNemesis. Then open Nemesis again and continue by clicking Launch Nemesis Behavior Engine
