would it be possible to convert the gear knights to a playable race? or at least upload their animations for the player character to use so the armor clips less? great mod tho

Hi, cool mod, there is a way to know the ids for the items, unfortunately the "AddItem Menu" mod doesn't work on my save.

Listen to these words. You are a freaking genius. What you have done in this mod is more cooler the than transforming into dragon. Well done!!!!

How is the balance of this mod?
Are these knights significantly more powerful than vanilla creatures?

This mod adds around 5-10 enemy Gear Knights of various kinds to each Dwemer ruin. I think on average they're a little weaker than your run-of-the-mill Dwarven Centurion. Their stats when you summon them seem to be pretty similar to their stats when you encounter them as enemies.

This mod also adds armor pieces and weapons as drops from these enemies and Dwemer chests. Some of the armor pieces add spells when you equip them. Some of the spells may be slightly overpowered (thinking of Short Gatling and Flamethrower - though these are immensely satisfying to use), but the drops are pretty random.

It's hard for me to judge balance compared to vanilla since I'm running a lot of mods, but on a heavily modded playthrough it seems fine.

I just started tinkering with this mod and I ran into an enemy NPC in Blackreach by the name of FaithfulGearKnight-Azrael. I haven't statted him out completely, but he has 15,499 Health, hefty Health Regen, moves fast, hits like a truck, and the only thing I've thrown his way so far that's even dented him is fire spells. A hit or two from him (which I only survived due to game engine weirdness) leveled my Heavy Armor from 15 to over 50. The other enemy critters I've come across haven't been too far off vanilla, but this one... not so much. Not saying it's a "bad" thing. Not at all. I think it's appropriate to the mod and it's a nice change of pace. Just saying be aware be be prepared. ;)

Nice to know it is pretty in line with normal enemies for the most part. The occasional OP enemy is kind of exciting as long as it isn't all the time.

I quite like some of the designs, someone should make a Mod that randomly replaces Dwemer Centurions with his creations

Your mech designs reminds me of an ancient Armored Core, I love it. You're one of my favorite mod authors, I look forward to seeing what you come up with next!
